Great experience. The hotel location is amazing but that does not come as a surprise, based on the photos I saw before. Rooms are nice, same for the amenities and infrastructure, align with a 5 start hotel. What really come as a positive surprise was the staff. Very young team and all so friendly and helpful, not too formal and not too relax... just the perfect balance to make you feel great. Also excellent suggestions for some activities in the area. Second nice surprise was the breakfast, served based on a Menu A la carte... plus some buffet offers. All with great quality and some variety and original options. Definitely one of the highest points of the hotel. Naturally all this comes with a price, so it's not cheap. I believe this season should be perfect because it avoids the crowd, so probably the service is better due to less customers. Totally recommended, for example for a especial occasion or, if price is not a problem, any time is always a good time 😉 looking forward to return. Thanks to all the team for such a nice treatment.

The ambience, service, music, aromas, general sense of calm, staff, and views were incredible. I had two services in the spa - a facial and a massage - and both were wonderful. The restaurant’s food was excellent.
The property is a bit remote. Most people had cars, it appeared, but I didn’t… in the future I would definitely rent a car. It is easy to get a Bolt, however.
The cliff-top location is spectacular, but recent rains had made it difficult or impossible to walk/hike along the cliffs. (Not the property’s fault, of course.)

Tastefully designed hotel in beautiful location on a cliff over the beach. Staff was great — happy, positive, helpful, but not overbearing.
There was some exterior renovations and repairs to the building and pool area the caused some noise, which wasn't great for relaxing by the pool. But was not a huge issue.

É um pormenor, mas estava à espera que sendo um hotel de 5 estrelas, ao pequeno-almoço soubessem fazer ovos escalfados. (Os que pedi chegaram cozidos)
Das Aethos Ericeira hat die wohl schönste Lage, die ein Hotel haben kann. Man schaut beim Aufwachen direkt aufs Meer und genießt hier die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge. Die Ausstattung ist wunderschön und man schläft in den Betten wunderbar. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr besonders. Neben einer feinen Buffet Auswahl, besteht die Möglichkeit, Bowls und Eierspeißen zu bestellen. Wirklich eines der besten Frühstücke, die wir in einem Hotel bisher hatten. Neben all den aufgeführten großartigen Details, sind es letztlich die Menschen, die das besondere Gefühl vermitteln. Die Freundlichkeit, jedes Lächeln, Nachfragen und die große Hilfsbereitschaft sind hier absolut bemerkenswert. Und genau das ist es, woran wir uns immer erinnern werden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und empfehlen dieses Hotel zu 100% weiter.

Da vista, da simpatia dos funcionários. O pequeno almoço era muito saboroso.
A paisagem, o staff, a sauna com vista para o mar. Os quartos são muito espaçosos, confortáveis e bem decorados. Tendo ido nós no pico do inverno, não pudemos usufruir da piscina aquecida, pois é exterior e o hotel não conseguia manter a temperatura da água.
A cozinha do restaurante do hotel tinha má exaustão e saímos de lá a cheirar a comida, e mesmo no lobby cheirava bastante. Num hotel destes, é inadmissível que tal aconteça. Podiam melhorar esse pormenor, ou poderiam colocar uns cheirinhos nos corredores do hotel para disfarçar o cheiro da comida. No entanto, a comida do restaurante é maravilhosa.
Everything... I loved my stay here. This is an extraordinary hotel in a stunning location right beside the Ocean. It is charming and elegant in its simplicity. Incredible staff, wonderful attention to detail and not at all pretentious for its class. It has an excellent kitchen with a very innovative menu, a welcome surprise for a hotel. Fabulous bar and cocktails too. I absolutely loved the Spa experience. Cant wait to come back......
