A grand property, set back from the street, removed from the noise…with a Buddhist meditation centre and Ayurvedic yoga? Yes please! Good gym, courtyard, bar, food…lovely spot to stay for a few days.
Best location in and around Thamel. Palace renovated as a boutique property. Fabulous housekeeping ethic. Great Nepali food. The gym could do with upkeep but glad they had one. Super safe for solo travellers. Very attentive staff.
The room was not only beautifully furnished but also functional and cozy. The hotel is well located in Thamel area and has on-site parking within its compound, making it convenient for car/taxi drop-off and pick-up without obstructing the busy, narrow street. Check-in and check-out were efficient.
My room was above the restaurant and at times there was some smoke which seemed to come from the fireplace (not the kitchen smoke). Also, although not the hotel's fault, there was some loud nighttime noise from a nearby site during my stay.
Management, Staff, Facilities, Location all outstanding and exceeded expectations.

We loved absolutely everything! The building is really beautiful, well located and the rooms are super comfortable. The staff is great, really helpful and nice. We stayed here 3 times and it was perfect each time! The breakfast buffet or a la carte is awesome and you can take it in the lovely courtyard. 10/10!!!

A lovely hotel - the courtyard in particular offers a lovely sanctuary in the middle of the busy city. The staff are attentive and helpful and I was made to feel very welcome. The morning yoga’s sessions were fantastic. Finally, the food was delicious - breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and the momos were excellent! Thank you!
