Grids was awesome. The room was large, the view was great, the beds were comfy, and the staff was lovely. I slept amazingly! There is a large sliding door that separates the sleeping area from the bathroom which makes it nice and quiet over night. The doors all have soft closing too which adds to the calm vibe. Would definitely recommend it. Oh! And breakfast was fantastic! Lots of variety and interesting dishes to try.
To use the microwave you have to go all the way down to the lobby which was a bit inconvenient.

Loved our stay here!! The breakfast was wonderful with a diverse spread. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed the views out to the water. Great location, where we could easily park and then walk around town. The rooftop onsen was pretty special.
Would be convenient if there was dedicated ski storage/drying room in winter considering how many guests seemed to be traveling for this purpose. As it was, room was spacious enough to store gear :)

Great central location with good value carparking. Can be busy at times in the lobby, staffs doing their best dealing with entitled gaijin mostly and chaos with arrivals and departures baggage.
Modern and very clean room. Comfortable stay! Will stay here again if I am in Otaru.
