Hôtel très peu recommandable
Pros:

Le manager a essayer de faire son possible pour sauver notre séjour.

Cons:

- Ls fourmis dans la chambre jusqu'à dans le lit
- Pas eau chaude dans la chambre
- Travaux pendant le séjour
- endroit mal entretenu
- rapport qualité/prix pas du tout correct (5 100 000 de dong pour 2 nuits)
Après tout tout c'est désagrément on nous a parlé de surclassement avec compensation. Nous avons été changé de chambre, mais pas de compensation.

Rat infested!

The hotel has rats. I saw a rat in the dining room on the first night and the manager, Nick, told us they were everywhere! I clarified whether they were in the kitchen and he said they were everywhere!

He and the owners seemed to dismiss my concerns, telling me I should expect rats as I was near a jungle! We spent a week sat in the room wiring to leave. We ate nothing but packets of crisps all week - it was a terrible honeymoon and we're heartbroken.

We couldn't eat there (obviously) and there's nothing else around. It's such a shame as it's a great menu and location (if you want to be in a secluded area), but hygiene is of no concern. We were appalled to receive a photo of a dead rat from the hotel during our stay... as if one killed addressed the infestation! It was a nightmare, rather than a once in a lifetime holiday.

The manager seemed to be very sorry as he understood it ruined our honeymoon, but he couldn't get the owners to refund us. Strangely, instead if a refund, we were offered a paid for holiday to Thailand next year (which we don't trust or accept).

This 'resort' looks good, but is rat infested. Please avoid!

Nicht das, was man für den Preis erwartet
Pros:

Nick ist ein super Miarbeiter und kümmert sich mit Herzblut um jeden einzelnen Gast und seine Bedürfnisse. Er ist das einzige, was die Stimmung im Hotel noch rettet. Das Frühstück ist ok. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber.

Cons:

Ansonsten wirkt das Hotel unfertig und gleichzeitig schon etwas heruntergekommen. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Privatstrand, den man auch anscheinend vor Langem angefangen hat zu bebauen und dann hat unfertig zerfallen lassen. Die Poolbar ist eine Baustelle und ein Zimmer, das uns angeboten wurde, hatte Ameisen. Das schlimmste ist aber das Personal, welches manchmal schlecht gelaunt wirkt und die einfachsten Worte auf englisch nicht versteht, wobei auch mit Google Translate die Kommunkation sehr schwierig ist und es zu vielen Missverständnissen kam. Ohne Nick und sein Englisch wären wir echt verloren gewesen. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen und es gibt kein Grab, sodass man darauf angewiesen ist, sich im Hotel einen Scooter zu leihen, wenn man rumkommen will, was aber gut geklappt hat. Im Hotel selbst ist nichts los, keine Musik und das Licht wird im Außenbereich um 22 Uhr ausgemacht, wenn niemand da ist. Man kann gegen Aufpreis eine Karaokebox mieten, aber wer macht das schon zu zweit, das Hotel sollte das einfach mal anbieten, um die Leute zusammenzubringen und die Stimmung ein bisschen aufzuwerten, nötig wäre es.
Alles in Allem ist das Hotel ok und dank Nick kommt man gut klar, aber absolut nicht das, was man für den Preis und die 4 Sterne erwarten kann. Super séjour ! A refaire sans hésiter.

Nous ne comprenons pas les commentaires négatifs précédents. Du coup nous avions beaucoup hésité avant de prendre cet hotel mais nous avons été complètement satisfait par notre séjour. Tout était très bien : la chambre, la vue superbe, l'insonorisation, la literie. L'hotel en général aussi était très bien avec une belle plage privée et deux belles piscines. La terrasse donne sur la mer et sur la montagne. On peut faire du basket, du billard, du tir à l'arc. Les petits déjeuners et les repas étaient très bons. Nick qui s'occupe des clients nous a proposé de louer des scooters electriques ce qui était très pratique pour se déplacer sur l'île. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Orson Hotel !

Relaxing and peaceful
Pros:

The location was top notch, i cant think of anywhere in the world which could beat this spot! Beautiful private beach and infinity pool. But the best feature by Far was Nick, the people manager. He was absolutely amazing, could not do enough for us, he even personally brought us breakfast in bed every morning. No job was too much for him, he just loves making the guests happy. Thank you so much Nick

The rest if the staff were pleasant enough but could not speak a word of English which made communication very difficult if Nick wasn’t around.

Pros:

Nos encantó todo.
Personal muy amable y hablando inglés. Nick ayuda con todo para que la estancia sea inmejorable.
La piscina es genial y la playa de acceso privado es impresionante y muy bonita para disfrutarla.
Desayuno muy bueno y variado todos los días.
Calidad-precio inmejorable.
Buenos cocktails.
Alquilamos moto allí con permiso europeo sin ningún problema.
Ubicación separada, pero se llega a todos los sitios en poco tiempo (15 min en moto) perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar de la isla.
Sin duda volvería.

Lo único que no nos gustó es quedarnos solo dos días, nos habriamos más tiempo.
Algunas instalaciones requieren mantenimiento, pero en realidad no afecta nada la agradable estancia. Pueden haber quejas de eso, pero con lo el precio tan bueno no tiene sentido quejarse por esos pequeños detalles..
Habían algunas obras, por lo que se ve que están mejorando y tiene mucho potencial.
En general, no podría decir nada malo, ya que fue lo mejor de nuestro viaje en Vietnam.

Privé strand en zwembad zijn top!
Pros:

Locatie is top. Grote meerwaarde zwembad en baai. Wel afgelegen; 15min met taxi naar stadje. Meer prachtig om te relaxen.
Personeel heel aardig; vooral Nick konden we op ieder moment aanspreken voor hulp. Heel fijn.
Huurden elektrische scooter: fijn maar je komt niet ver met de accu.

Cons:

Prijs is behoorlijk duurder dan andere hotels op eiland.
Keuze keuken is matig.

Wenn man mit wenig zufrieden ist (Kommunikation und Speisen/Getränke), dann Pool-Aussicht genießen
Pros:

Privater Strand mit schön gelegenem Pool und bester Aussicht auf das traumhaft blaue Meer.
Grosse Zimmer mit riesen Fenstern auf die Natur, sehr bequeme und weiche Betten.
Ohne Nick (der womöglich einzige Mitarbeiter der überhaupt Englisch spricht-und das aber ausgezeichnet) wäre unser kurzer Aufenhalt nicht halb so angenehm gewesen. Danke dafür :)
Wir sind morgens um 7 schon angekommen und er hat uns direkt zum Frühstück eingeladen und wir konnten bis zum einchecken direkt den Pool und alles andere nutzen.
Essen war voll okay, wenn man nichts außergewöhnliches bestellt sondern eher lokale/vietnamesische Speisen.
Große Auswahl beim Frühstück

Cons:

Cocktails kann man nicht trinken.
Strand ist leider nicht sehr gepflegt, nur vereinzelte Liegen die herumstehen.
98% der Mitarbeiter die kein Wort englisch können, sogar die an der Rezeption brauchen ihren Google Übersetzer um zu kommunizieren

The price-performance ratio is definitely not good.
Pros:

+ Beautifully landscaped grounds
+ clean pool area
+ efforts are made to keep the 'beach area' clean
+ huge rooms with great sea views
+ Extensive and partially changing breakfast

Cons:

- The building and facilities are showing their age
- The first night an ant trail walked across my bed (it was cleaned up the next morning).
- The shower area is poorly designed. Water sprayed against the wall instead of downwards. Water leaked out of the shower area.
- Hotel almost empty and 'dead'
