very quiet, beatiful place with peaceful surroundings. Hostel spotlessly clean.
Room was OK, & the shower was great
Both mattresses were a bit lumpy & the springs made them uncomfortable, however due to long days out we were both tired so slept anyway, missed breakfasts due to having to leave early
The breakfast was Ok but only took once as I had no idea how long it would take to get him up in the mornings
WIFi was non existent and when I mentioned this to staff they said the signal was only any good if you went outside. Beds were very hard, luckily I travel with a fairly thick mattress topper for my son so he was more comfortable than me.
Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres
Clean, good value
No staff member. Stayed two nights didn't speak to anyone
Lovely and comfortable and really clean, Dave who works there was really helpful he even carried our bags for us 😊
Right on the SDW for walkers like myself
Confusing signage on site made entrance difficult to find. Keypad entry felt impersonal.
Room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely continental breakfast.
No TV. Bed a bit hard. Only electrical socket was behind middle of the bed making it awkward to plug in a phone or hair dryer.
Basic accomodation in the B and B. No frills but fine for a stay on the trek on the South Downs
Right on the path so perfect location.
Pretty isolated for food options, there is a dining area which would have benefited from cooking facilities, if only a microwave.
Easy location as I’m walking the trail.
So freaking miserably hot in the room. It was a heat emergency and the window barely opens. Like I could barely fit a hand in the opening. It was the ground floor and a low window…why the F** was the window bolted???!!! That’s a safety hazard and health emergency. Also when you search for the location, it only marks the hostel. I couldn’t see anywhere notes that there’s 2 different entrances. After a long hot day walking 18mi you don’t want to be walking around and around a building!!
Spotlessly clean, comfortable, well-equipped, everything you could need. Nice breakfast, excellent coffee! Gorgeous site.
The doors are really loud so you're awake with the first people up - which is early!
