Great hotel! We stayed on the second floor with a view of the lake for two nights. The room was large and had a comfortable king-size bed. The bathroom was also large and very clean. The shower was huge, and the showerhead had a wonderful spray.
The hotel and our room were very quiet, no matter what time of day it was. The waitress we had in the restaurant was amazing and so kind to all the guests. The food was also amazing—you definitely need to try the personal-size Saskatoon berry pie!
The front desk staff were okay, but overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!
The location of the hotel was perfect. We could walk to the beach or into town for dinner. We got the deluxe king room on the ground floor. It was very spacious, and we enjoyed being able to sit outside or walk straight out our patio door to the beach.
There were some simple little conveniences missing in the room. For example, there were very few places to hang towels in the bathroom, and there was nowhere to put soap or shampoo in the shower. You had to put everything on the floor. The last night we were there, there wasn't a parking space for us so we had to park down the street. Given the price that we paid for our room, this was not ok.
The Kilmorey Lodge did not disappoint. Our room was absolutely lovely, looked out on the lake. The manager on duty was welcoming, very accommodating. Great location to the downtown area, we walked everywhere. We ate at the restaurant and had an outstanding meal, great service and drinks. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. I hope to return one day!
Overall : Bad experience. Especially for the money spent. One noght, tiny room right above garbage disposal cans (very noisy, had to close windows) 840CAD with taxes!
NO balcony either. Bad is not comfortable
Those kind of money I spend in Firemont hotel in Lake Louse with breakfast included.Or other luxury Banff hotels like Moose or Fox
Price droped a week before arraival and I asked about price adjustment (120 CAD per noght). They refused. Arrived at 15;30 with check in time 16.00 and was told room is not ready??? Cleaning is suboptimal. Customer service is not friendly
Location is great, but that is about it. Got 1 star for that. Total waste of money.
Ambiance, the patio, clean lovely room, restaurant, great friendly staff. Uga the dining waiter was great and we enjoyed talking with him!

The shower was too challenging for one of us to use. The step in was too high and there were no grab bars. A larger common area/lobby would have been appreciated.
