The only positive aspect of this hotel was the cleanliness of the bed linens and sheets. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing.
The only positive aspect of this hotel was the cleanliness of the bed linens and sheets. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing.
I specifically booked a room with a large double bed. However, upon arrival, I was given two single beds pushed together instead. This was uncomfortable and did not meet the booking description. The bed was not stable or comfortable, and I experienced significant back pain as a result.
Additionally, the internet connection was extremely poor. Although I was provided with the complimentary Wi-Fi password at reception, I was unable to connect properly during my stay.
The room I was assigned was located near the lobby on the ground level. It had no proper view and faced directly onto the road, which made the environment unpleasant and noisy.
Overall, aside from the clean sheets, the stay did not meet my expectations.

Clean and spacious
Location in the nice area, but hard to get to with a car. Staff was friendly.
The bathroom fixtures were run down, shower holder and drain of the sink were broken.
Das Hotel befindet sich in einem wunderschönen alten Gebäude. Die Mitarbeiter:innen waren allesamt sehr freundlich (wenngleich sich die Kommunikation auf türkisch als am einfachsten erwiesen hat). Außerdem ist die Lage des Hotels als sehr positiv hervorzuheben; es ist zwischen der Atatürk Caddesi und der İki Eylül Sokak in einer kleinen Seitenstraße gelegen. Von dort aus ist man sehr schnell im historischen Teil der Stadt und erreicht auch eine Vielzahl von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants problemlos zu Fuß.
Das schöne alte Gebäude hat natürlich den Nachteil, dass hier eine Menge in Schuss gehalten werden muss; die Einrichtung des Badezimmers mag noch irgendwie als halbwegs authentisch durchgehen, es müsste aber dringend mal renoviert werden. Auch bei den Fenstern kann man nicht wirklich von einer Isolierung sprechen. Auf Grund der Lage in einer Seitenstraße ist das nicht besonders problematisch, aber das Gebäude ist doch sehr hellhörig. Das Internet ist leider völlig instabil; an Streaming o.ä. ist hier nicht zu denken.

Ideal location next to open-air bazaars and close to the river. Traditional house in an authentic local neighborhood. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Although the area is somewhat clean, it lacks decoration and tidiness, showcasing broken glass on the bedside tables, dried plants, and neglected buckets in the corner.
