Golden Horn Apart Hotel

Wie schon zuvor war wieder alles Bestens. Meine erste Wahl in Baku.

I want to address my experience with Gold Horn Apart Hotel in Baku (36 Ataturk Avenue). I booked to stay at this hotel with my daughter as she attends the International Astronautical Congress 2023 in Baku using Expedia. On the 5th night of our stay, my daughter and I were watching TV around 12:30am and a random man unlocked our hotel room door and entered. He then closed the door as he saw we were inside and left. I went down to the hotel reception and told the staff what had happened. I requested that he call the police but he refused to do so. I then requested that he checks the security footage, which shows the unknown man entering our hotel room and leaving. Following this, I told the staff to contact this man and go to his room. The reception hotel staff was very hesitant and also had poor English. He also refused to call the police despite my multiple requests to do so. This led me going to the street and looking for a police car myself at 1am. I could not find a police car, and so, begged one of the drivers outside to call the police. Following this, the police arrived and they noted this incident and said they will investigate this. I was worried because I was going to leave the country the next day and my daughter was going to stay the remainder of the duration - 4 days at this hotel. I did not feel secure and ultimately booked another hotel for the rest of her stay. I ended up paying for another hotel and checked out of Golden Horn Apart Hotel early midway through.

Reza was the best guide for us when in the property, though he was the one securing the place. The entire staff was great, but Reza stood out amongst all.
Probably they can work around their room service or cleanliness, in general. We had to ask for ‘clean my room’ service.
A bit far from the happening spots of the city but still not exactly a quiet place. The Ataturk Park was perfectly placed in the middle of the road.
Won’t mind staying there again.

Staff is very friendly. Very neat and clean. Room was also very clean. Location around property is also amazing. Good for shopping. Mall, food, metro is at 10 min walking distance.

Wenn es auch noch einen Pool hätte, gebe es für mich kein anderes Hotel in Baku.

The big problem with the unit is warm water for showers. It is not available. I stayed a week and only one night I had semi warm water for shower, the rest was cold shower

Parking available in front of the hotel throughout our 4 day stay. Check in quick. We had a junior suit and twin room. Both clean and very comfortable. ACs worked great, good wifi, beds comfortable although a little hard. We had breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, hot and cold options but its the same everyday. My only suggestion to improve guests comfort would be to supply cleaning materials and tea towels for the kitchenette, pots and pans there.
I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Baku, we found going to tourists attractions no problem, but we had a car. Comfortable nights sleep and good breakfast so you can enjoy your time exploring Baku.

We were greeted by Ali at the front desk when we arrived at 1:am it was late but late check in was no problem. We enjoyed the continental breakfast where we met a very friendly lady by the name of Nata that works in the cafeteria and made us feel at home and danced with me and my wife music playing on the TV. Upon exiting the hotel for sightseeing and fun that day we met a very pleasant man by the name of Teymur at the front desk in the morning and he was extremely helpful, making sure we got to and from our destinations with ease, keeping my wife and i up to date on places to visit in Baku. Teymur is most definitely the kind of staff any hotel should have.
It was also a pleasure to meet the security man Riza, made us feel very safe and comfortable and now long life friend.
The hotel was very clean with beautiful rooms, food was great, and easy access to shopping dining options Groceries and beautiful park across from the hotel.
We highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

Wie schon beim ersten Aufenthalt alles super. Dank an die Rezeption die mir beim Ausdrucken und Scannen von Dokumenten sehr geholfen hat. Angenehme Gegend da viele Botschaften in der Nähe. Einkäufe können zu Fuß erledigt werden und ins Zentrum fährt man mit der nahen Metro oder nimmt ein Taxi. Preis UNBEDINGT vorher aushandeln, da ein Taximeter nicht vorhanden ist.
Die Damen im Frühstücksraum sind sehr freundlich und einer Konversation mit Gästen nicht abgeneigt. Die Auswahl am Buffet ist überschaubar aber für mich war das kein Problem. Komme gerne wieder.

Good…bathroom drain system to be improved

What a great room. Had everything you can imagine and it was sparking clean. The hotel staff was friendly too.

The location was great too, only a 10 Minute walk from the most happening mall in all of Baku.

فندق مبناه جديد وتصميم الغرف به مناسب .. يوجد داخل الغرفة غلاية ماي للشاي وفرن كهربائي للطبخ ولكن لايوجد قدور.. الفندق نظيف وجديد ومريح وموقعه جيد حيث يقع على شارع أمامه كافيهات ومطعم وبعض المحلات
