Pros:

Very good location, near to many food shops and beside a renowned massage shop. The lobby has an open seating area that is very comfortable at night, and the house cafe serves great coffee. The room is modern enough and has all the amenities.

Beautiful, vibey and well worth the stay!

I loved the vibe of the hotel - the interior design was lush and you can tell there was a lot of thought behind the branding. I loved the cafe downstairs too, the orange juice with cold brew coffee? Yum!
Everything’s literally a short walk away and easy access for grabs if you’re planning to venture further out. Staff were lovely and helped with the luggage - they even hold it too before/after checking in/out. It’s well worth the stay and when I come back to Penang, it’ll definitely be my accommodation of choice!

Pros:

I like the design of the room and the bed was comfy to sleep on. I like the idea of the book of rules where we can contact the counter by WhatsApp anytime. There is also a garment steamer for use on request which is an added value. The location is right in the middle which makes it easy to get to the places of attraction. They have bicycles for guests to cycle around Georgetown. The Sandwich Bar has a 10% discount for guests.

Cons:

The pantry provides 2 in 1 coffee/ teh tarik with some popo snacks. It would be better if biscuits/cookies are added instead of unhealthy snacks. Perhaps it would be a great idea to provide a pair of scissors at the pantry bc the teh tarik pack simply cannot be opened. I was asked to go down to the counter for the scissors. I believe having a scissors at the pantry would save a lot of hassles.

The automated handwash machine is not working and I have already told them I don't need it and yet the staff told me they will return it in 10 mins time after the charging. It kept me waited in the room.... And they were not back until the next day. Can't they just make a replacement immediately instead of keeping me waiting in the room? I don't mind to use the normal pump one instead of the fancy machine.

The door seems to have activated the alarm device everytime I close it. Was it broken?

The air conditioning system is not cold enough same as what the reviews say. So I don't have high expectations of it.

On the last day, I had requested a time extension to check out as I couldn't get back on time. It's good that they allow it. But they came to knock at the door making it an unpleasant experience.

Anyway, these are my experiences having to know it's a 3 star hotel. The price is slightly higher than the 4 Star hotel with sea view that I was in the day before. There is really a huge difference in servicing customers between the 3 and 4 Star hotel. Here the customers are not the priority....if you are here only for the interior design of the room, it's worth it.

Lovely hotel, with such a good vibe. Coffee shop downstairs is delicious and the bar in the hotel is such a vibe. Highly recommend.
