Appartement familial décevant
Pros:

On étouffait la nuit dans la chambre qui n'avait ni fenêtre et ni aucune aération mais qui avait la douche qui ajoutait de l'humidité.
Une mauvaise odeur de renfermé qui n'avait rien à voir avec les inondations récentes.
Propreté moyenne : la bouilloire n'était pas vidée- il n'y avait pas de sacs poubelle, les oreillers avaient des tâches.
Une seule douche transparente dans la chambre pour toute la famille - Bonjour l'intimité !
Les WC étaient tellement petits qu'on avait du mal à fermer la porte à cause des genoux.
Un mobilier bon marché avec 1 tabouret cassé, pas de table pour manger, 3 cintres seulement pour un appartement familiale pour 4 personnes, pas de coin ordinateur comme spécifié dans le descriptif.
Une fenêtre qu'on pouvait pas ouvrir car elle donnait sur la rue étroite et bruyante avec les voitures et les scooters qui passaient au raz, 1 volet métallique qui était difficile à ouvrir et à fermer : un vrai casse tête.
La caution de 500 € était complètement injustifiée par rapport à la qualité de l'hébergement.
Le quartier du panier est pittoresque mais l'appartement, lui, n'a aucun charme et il n'a rien de pittoresque.
A titre de dédommagement, la commerciale qui est charmante nous a accordé de conserver l'appartement jusqu'en milieu d'après midi le jour du départ.

Pros:

What I like about this apartment: 1). Great area to be in. Walking distance to old many attractions. 2). Very nice apartment with everything. Comfortable bed. Love the washing machine. 3). Instant communication.

What I do not like: 1). The stairs going up is vey narrow and steep. I had a large suitcase and it was difficult to get it up. 2). Since I came to Marseille early, I asked if I could leave my luggage with the office. I was told there is no place to put my luggage but I can do early check in. They approved my 2pm check in but I did not realize that I was charged 50 Euro for checking in at 2pm. Later I found out I could store my luggage at the train station about 10 Euro. I wish they could offer these suggestions as alternative.

Pros:

It’s a hidden gem, with the only entrance being a blue door with a simple sign on a small road next to a collection of cafes, but once inside it’s got the old world vibe we wanted & the room was bigger than expected. Valerie was so helpful with getting us everything we needed to get in and get hooked up to the wifi. We would definitely stay here again.
