Very nice room.
Excellent location , good value, and easy check in . Can walk to numerous restaurants and attractions, absolutely wonderful experience

The ledge in the room was very dusty
A unique place to stay
Super cool place to stay. Figuring out the parking situation and the self check in was a little bit of a struggle for me. There is a bit of a homeless population around the area, but it didn’t feel unsafe. Otherwise, location is very good and close to the lake. There is also a really good bakery close for morning coffee and a scone. I would definitely recommend staying at the Oliver.
Very nice, cool old building. I recommend!
Room was clean and comfortable. Access was easy and the speakeasy was fabulous.
The room was exceptional. In fact, it was even better than the pictures in the listing. I loved how large the space was and how it was arranged for both work and leisure. The bed was extremely comfortable. Really enjoyed the ambiance of the fireplace. I stopped in the pub on the first night and had a great time enjoying the space and talking to the bartender and other patrons. I can't say enough about the personality of the whole hotel. Will definitely be back.
It’s a very beautiful and unique place to stay! I would recommend staying here. Lots of places near by and close to the shore and boardwalk!
Clean quiet room
The beds at the Oliver Inn are the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. The shower was also amazing.
We parked across the street in the parking garage which was nice except for having to walk past homeless ppl. But they did not bother us. Overall we really enjoyed it!
Check-in was a bit confusing. Instruction said to text "check-in" when I was ready to check in, so I did that and got no reply. Not sure what purpose that served. The access code I was provided was not made clear if that was for the front door, for my room or for both - so I had to call the customer service number to ask. The hotel is a historical place and has a lot of charm - each room unique - which is cool. My room was absolutely FREEZING cold. I kept turning up the temp and eventually turned the thermostat off completely and still absolutely froze in the room so it wasn't comfortable. Plenty of hot water and a unique shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a very large gap under my door and the people in Room 15 next to me on 9/25 & 9/26 were EXTREMELY loud. Also, there was construction going on in the building and floor above me that was very loud shortly after 8 am on 9/26...not cool. Parking across the street was inconvenient, but cheap. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance.
Very Nice Space. We parked 1/2 block away at Muffler Parking lot. Cool art and layout. Nespresso machine was good bonus. Very good value.
I had a great stay at the Oliver. I will definitely stay there again if in the area.
The most charming stay ever! I absolutely love this property and will be back. The area around the property has a lot of unhomed people, the management let us know before hand and we had no prop at all. Check in was smooth and easy.
Bed was very comfortable.when we arrived the ac was in full blast so it was really chilly for a bit. Would stay again! Thanks!
We never checked in. My husband was creeped out by historic building and sharing a bathroom.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Easy access to downtown. Hot sauna was great
It was cute but the beds need to be replaced, our backs were sore after sleeping
Beautiful hotel in downtown Duluth. The place is delightfully restored to preserve the historic architecture. Bed is comfortable but old buildings come with noise - hallway movement and traffic outside can be heard.
