After spending a very long time debating which area to stay in for our 4 night break, we decided on Three Corners Downtown. What a great choice. Perfectly situated in the city to explore everything Budapest has to offer.
Now we choose to walk everywhere so cannot comment on tram stops, but the hotel was an 8 minute walk from the 100E bus shuttle from the airport. At approximately £7.50 per person and taking only half an hour it was by far the best way to travel into the city.
The hotel was everything we wanted. Very clean, modern with welcoming staff. The standout thing about this hotel was how quiet it was. No bustling corridor noise in the morning or cars outside in the road. So peaceful.
Breakfast was a vast choice of delicious food with something to suit every taste.
The room was modest but comfortable, clean and quiet! Blackout curtains shut out every ounce of light leading to a good night sleep.
The hotel is one street back from the banks of the Danube, Parliament square and the chain bridge. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and the Basilica was only a 2 minute walk.
All in all I would highly recommend this hotel. Location was 10/10 and an excellent base for a week of exploring.
The pillows are very firm as has been noted in other reviews. We chose an alternative pillow from the menu but this was still very firm but a minor issue in the whole experience.
