Carlton Dubai Creek Hotel

Very near to Deira and baniyas square station

Not a 4 star that’s for sure.

Absolutely love the hospitality and the actual hotel. We were lucky to get a free upgrade which we were so grateful for as we were there for 14 nights! Suite was so massive and the view from the windows were stunning. Walking distance from Metro station. Totally recommend.

Since our last visit to Dubai and stay at Carlton Dubai Creek (4 times), seems like the service at the hotel has be seriously degraded! Sad but true.
The bathroom in our room had the shower cubicle leaking badly? Also some of the staff members are somewhat unfriendly and seemed aggressive with there response to our reports of issues with the room.
However, some staff members were pleasant and helpful.
Unfortunately we won't be staying there for our next visit to Dubai.

Quite old, poor breakfast, garage access and not convenient.
Most of the staff is friendly and the room I got was very big (more like a service apartment). I got a kitchen but no cutleries.

The sink in the main bathroom was leaking quite badly underneath. I reported this to the front desk and showed the man there a photo of the water gushing out. He said he would tell maintenance that there was a problem in the athroim. He didn't listen to what I told him and didn't like at the photo. The Toilet spray hose was also leaking and I explained this too. The leaks ever got fixed. I also complained about lots of tiny fruit flies which seemed to congregate in the kitchen sink area. I used a whole can of fly spray over the week but theyvstilll kept coming.
The room housekeeper never replaced the coffee sachets and I bought a jar of coffee. The floor was also not very clean, my feet were grubby after walking around in the evenings.
I did like the overlay hotel, it's location and the idea from the rooftop bar were amazing .
It just needs a little bit of attention to detail

This is the one of the best hotels in Dubai excellent service and great staff I have been there so many times and love to go back there.

The good thing I liked about this room is that it was very spacious. I felt like I had a mini apartment and that was such a good feeling to have so much space. The bad thing that made it where I would never stay here again is that it was very dirty upon entry. We had to ask somebody to come in and clean it again because the floors had stains the sofa head stained things were not cleaned. They seem to have limited staffing to clean the entire hotel. I think that is why things are not being cleaned properly because you can’t ask limited staffing to do such a huge hotel.This is an older hotel and it shows if you look at the carpet throughout the hotel in the hallways, you’ll see that there are stains everywhere and paint chipping away. I would not stay here again.

Riza at the front desk was great as usual. But the property is in need of a bit of renovation. Bathroom tap was leaking and air conditioning need to be checked as cigarette smoke smell was coming through. Also there were a lot of small fruit flies in the kitchen area in the room.

Location is great. Lobby is a big wow (worthy of 4 stars). Room is good, but there are lots of noticeable imperfections (shower floor sloped to drain out of shower instead of into drain, scuffed paint, badly installed tile, strong smell of tobacco smoke in public areas). And there is a lack of some basic supplies - no wash cloth, no dish soap, no kitchen towels, no hair conditioner. I know this review is detailed, but I expect a 4 star hotel to be a wow in the lobby & everywhere else inside the hotel. However, I want to give VERY HIGH PRAISE for the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional.

The location is very good for everything you need also the shops and the sites for gold, perfumes and spices are walking distance not to forget the creek crossing to bur dubai is so convenient and cheap.
I will most definitely revisit.

We were impressed by this hotel. We didn’t realize we booked a suite and the room was massive and had a nice kitchen area and two bathrooms. One bathroom was phenomenal with the biggest bath tub I have ever seen. It is a good location being a short walk to the water, gold souk and a metro station.

This hotel gave me such a lovely upgrade and I felt very looked after. Thank you so much for taking care of me 💗
