Pros:

Das Radisson Red ist absolut top. Sauber ordentlich, tolle Zimmer (Nespresso Kaffeemaschine), Tiefgarage und mega Frühstück. Die Bar mit Blick über die Stadt...wow.

Cons:

Wie konnten leider nicht länger bleiben :-).

A super hotel with (bonus) inspiring art ... we'll be back!
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent: variety, quality, table service (for light fare) and clean.
Staff (especially the desk staff) were super helpful which added much value to our stay in Oslo.

Cons:

There is nothing we disliked about the hotel. However, the location should be considered when selecting subsequent tours or flights.

Mooi hotel maar te ver van alles
Pros:

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in Oslo deze winter! Het hotel is erg mooi en de kamers zijn zeer comfortabel, precies wat je nodig hebt na een koude dag in de stad. Het ontbijt was een absoluut hoogtepunt: zeer uitgebreid met veel keuze. Zeker een aanrader voor een wintertrip!

Cons:

Hoewel het hotel zelf erg mooi en comfortabel is, was de locatie voor ons een enorm minpunt. Het hotel ligt zeer ver van het centrum van Oslo. Te voet is het een flinke tocht van een uur, constant bergop en bergaf, wat zeker in de winter een zware opgave is. Een taxi naar het centrum is erg duur en daardoor geen haalbare optie voor dagelijks gebruik.
Het hotel ligt weliswaar naast een metrostation, maar als buitenlandse toerist liepen we tegen grote problemen aan. Voor het openbaar vervoer in Oslo heb je een app nodig (Ruter), maar onze buitenlandse creditcards werden herhaaldelijk geweigerd door de app. Hierdoor konden we geen tickets kopen.
Wat ons het meest tegenviel, was dat het personeel ons totaal niet kon helpen met dit probleem. Ze boden geen alternatieve oplossingen of assistentie voor het openbaar vervoer, waardoor we elke dag gedwongen waren de lange, zware wandeling te maken. Als je Oslo wilt verkennen zonder een fortuin aan taxi's uit te geven of uren te wandelen, is dit hotel helaas geen aanrader.
