Pros:

The rooms are very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the showers were warm and spacious.

Cons:

The heating in the room hadn't been turned on yet so there were heating pads on the beds to keep us warm enough which was a little awkward. The first room I got a key for smelled like cigarette smoke, so I requested another room which was obliged.

Nice place to stay in Gwanju
Pros:

Everything.
Big thanks to the receptionist. He was really wonderful!
The place was really clean and the bedroom was big.
There is free bottles of water as well and coffee (even more at the reception if you need)
The area was well located (bus stop 2 min walking) and not far from Damyang (1h30 by bus, go there for sure as there is bamboo forest, a lot of souvenirs shops and nice river walks)
The bed was also comfortable (not too hard like often in South Korea)
If you are searching for a good hotel with a good price and comfortable, don't search any longer you've found it.

I was supposed to stay five nights, I escaped after the 2nd one.
Pros:

The property by itself is acceptable…
The room has no problem of view since there is a tower at two meters of the window. No surprise, excellent view on the wall and, of course, a lot of light!

Cons:

If you are not a native of this place and having your bank account in Korea, just don’t go there. Or… come with a lot of cash. Completely unable to find an ATM that can read foreign cards. I asked a bank, they had no solutions! I spent half a day and walked 8km in total without finding anything.
In the end, I had just enough cash to pay a taxi to the station and escape from Gwangju.
The manager exploded laughing when I tried to get some help… He had no solution as well !
From my stay in Korea, only it seems that only in Seoul and Busan 50% of the ATM are able to deal with foreign cards.

Very pleasent stay for really good money
Pros:

Free parking on premise, large comfy beds, big flat TV with free netfix, fast wifi, shower behind a wall - so you don’t need to shower all bathroom including toilet 🙂 free juices and drinks by the reception.

Cons:

It will be nice to have seperate blankets for double beds.

Pros:

This hotel is great for its value. Clean and spacious rooms with great amenities. I especially like it because it is in a convenient area close to where I need to be for my travels to Gwangju. There are several small motels/hotels around the area, but I think this is the best one out of them all.

There are a lot of hotels/motels in the area. This is one of the cleaner and more spacious ones. Would recommend to those looking to visit Gwangju and stay in nam-gu area

Pros:

nice and spacious room

Cons:

location is close to touristic places (20 min on foot) but it is in a motel area with not many food options around, as it rained a lot during our stay it was not easy to move around
