Pros:

For being new, there were a lot of issues with the apt. Broken lamp, broken clock, broken lock on back door. Hole in the door of closet, broken garbage disposal. Broken living room table. The shower was great and tub bathtub was a good size, but it was missing a dain stopper, so could use the bathtub. Nice washer/dryer. The concierge was on his phone all three nights I was there, talking very loudly about his personal business which i found unprofessional. They sent a maintenance person to fix the closet. I told them that they could fix it after I checked out. The next day while I was out, someone entered my apt and fixed a garbabge disposal without the courtesy of reaching out after I had already told them to fix things after I checked out. The communication from the company was very hard to access. They didnt even ask for a cc for incidentals until after I had checked out of the hotel. I would not recommend this place. The company running it is a mess.

Honestly, it wasn't much of a luxury. The apartment was average. The only thing that stood out was the oversized tub.

Pros:

There were so many reviews that i should have listened to but I didnt due to the location. We had no resolve of issues that were expressed to the company, management company and hotels.com. We began with no air-conditioning and the air-conditioning fan was so loud it sounded like it was going to explode. The apartment was digusting dirty and dog feces or cat feces on the rug which was reported and was never taken care of in 3 days. It's Actually still sitting there on our check out today folded over. Actually, none of these issues were taken care of. The bed frame was not the right frame and it squeeked everytime you moved. The bedroom furnitire was so big you couldn't get to the other side of the bed. There were no shades on the windows so when you slept the light qq the city lamps were in your face all night. The bath tub leaked, lamp shades were broken and so was the toilet paper holder. Front desk staff were clueless and were not a part of the rental facility. They were paid door sitters essentially with no information on anything. Parkinglot for short term stays was across the road and unsafe. Dont ignore the reviews, like i did. I will NEVER stay with global ics, global luxury suites or anything to do with Tribeca apartments. Dont be fooled they own several places. Absolutely disgusted. I would add photos but this post will not let me for some reason.

Pros:

I checked into the Tribeca. 40 N Street NE
Washington, DC 20002
United States. I went for an outing with my family on sept. 14, 2024 from 11am-4pm. When I came back, I was missing two watches (one Rolex), a diamond bracelet and ring. I notified the concierge immediately once I noticed, and they were slow to drag their feet. I filed a police report for the missing items and I asked them to release the video footage from that timeframe which they still haven’t done so and they’ve been slow to respond which lead me to believe that the management company has something to do with my items coming up missing. Considering when I first checked in nobody knew where the key was so they had to “calibrate” one for me. I also noticed that the key fob cover was missing when I got there which was a red flag however I didn’t notice say anything at the time. Don’t stay in this property because they will steal your stuff. $10,000 in jewelry was stolen September 14, 2024. Currently being investigated.

Do Not Stay Here
Pros:

This company is absolutely awful, especially the DC location. We rented an apartment for the weekend, and it was non-stop issues, so much that we woke up at 3 am and just left. The keys were not ready on time, there is no representative on site, someone just randomly drops keys off to a leasing agent who works for the property and has no idea what’s going on. When we got to the unit, there were food stains on the bedroom furniture, the headboard was separated from the bed so this posed a risk to my 10-month old, there were tangled messes of cords, the coffee table leg was broken, the WiFi didn’t work, the tv remotes didn’t work, rugs were disgusting, we ordered a 2 queen bed and received 1 queen bed and 2 twins, linens were dirty, and most importantly the air conditioning was unreliable! It would either run constantly so you have to turn it off to get the place to stop from freezing, or it would just not turn on so the apartment was unbearably warm. Their “customer service” is a group of people who also have no idea what’s going on, I believe it’s a third party group. I called over and over trying to get help with the AC and NO ONE CAME! A random person came to drop off extra linens that we didn’t request and when I asked him he said maintenance won’t come because it’s the weekend.
I have been fighting with Hotels.com to get a refund but these people supposedly have to approve it - as if they care about customer satisfaction.
Please don’t be fooled, there is nothing luxurious

DO NOT BOOK. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND HORRIBLE
Pros:

I came to DC for business (3 weeks) and was hoping the listing was as described. Far from it! The apt had a strong cigarette stench all around, the couch, rugs were stained and there were blond hairs on rugs (I have black hair). The furniture has tears and stains and appliances are super cheap for the $3K price I paid. The balcony was dirty as well, the TV was not working properly, the shades did not close all the way down to have privacy etc etc. The noise (ambulances, police, fire trucks all day long) was unbearable and worse than in my hometown NYC! All this was reported to Global and nothing was done for several days. At the end only a few problems were addressed but not all and I had to endure a lot of aggravation + take time from work to wait for people to come to the apt to inspect and leave matters unresolved. This company operates under Global Luxury (Nothing luxury about the place) Suites and Churchill Living making it very difficult to communicate with them and to find the right person to get help. They use both names as business entities and I will be looking into these two companies before building my case to go to small claims (court). If you want to experience a nightmare and not enjoy your trip, this is the place for you.

Pros:

Global Luxury Resorts was a horrible organization ftom the start. First, they wanted me to sign a blanket consent for damage charges aling with a pdf of the front and back of my credit card emailed to them from some spurious email ir I wouldnt be allowed to check in. I refused and demanded a refund. They continued to send me emails and texts for my cc info.
The checkin info they emailed me was incorrect. The door code to the bldg was wrong and when I finally got the concierge to let me into the bldg and let us in to the condo, the balcony door was broken and wide open and the room temp was 78 degrees with the ac not working properly. Finally, the wifi account name and pw were incorrect. All I got was an apology text.
STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING MANAGED BY GLOBAL LUXURY.
they should be removed from Hotels.com.

Nice apartment in Noma
Pros:

Very nice place in a great neighborhood. Only complaints were noisy headboard on the bed, no kitchen towels, blind on balcony door that didn’t fully close, and the dishwasher needed rinse aid. But very quiet and roomy.

Pros:

Not worth the money. Unit was not cleaned. Electronics weren’t plugged in and ready for use. Sheets were placed sloppy on the bed. No shower curtain or rod in the second bathroom to take a shower. Paperwork asked us to clean the unit before exiting but the cleaning fee is included?? The balcony door did not lock. Half of the power was off and had to find the breaker to reset it. It did have the space we needed as stated which was very convenient for 4 guests. Parking was easy and free on the street due to the stay being over the weekend. I was able to keep my vehicle in view from the unit thankfully it was safe. The car parked across the street from mine had their window completely busted the first night. Definitely would not book again unfortunately.

Pros:

When we arrived there was no bedding for the pull out sofa in the living room (it is advertised as included and was requested). Weirdly, there were no pots and pans at all in the kitchen, but there were cooking utensils etc. The place was quite dirty. Big smear of something on the glass wall, bathroom light switch had some sort of crud on it. Sofa was a bit gross. Floor had crumbs and dust balls. Communication was poor, response slow. It took 24 hours for the bedding and pots and pans to arrive. I asked for a fee reduction for the first night, no answer. Not really relevant but the stationary bike in the exercise room was also broken. I liked the neighbourhood and the proximity to the metro was great. Don't bother with this company, there must be other short-term apartments nearby.

Pros:

Booked via Expedia and the front desk had no record of my reservation. Had to sit in the lobby for an hour waiting for the booking agency to call me back with my room number, as there was no communication from them to me with any booking details. Once I was in the room, the furniture was disheveled and the mirror on the dresser was fastened using a snapped piece of 2x4 that was very visible. Overall, the room had lots of space but was a poor experience.
