There’s no one to help if you need something… also I was false advertised of two twin beds and the small bed pads were not twin beds at all

Parking 55$ us per night

The outdoor mat soaked up water so we tracked water inside with our shoes. Minor noticeable maintenance and reconstruction needed in the hallways. Small pool, the jacuzzi needed to be cleaned, parking is overpriced - even for a property close to the beach.

Our experience at Avi Lux, located within the Hilton DoubleTree Gallery One, was deeply unsatisfactory and well below what should be expected from any property associated with the Hilton brand.

To start, the condition of the unit was unacceptable. The floors were leaking water throughout our stay—every step felt like walking through slush. Despite reporting the issue, nothing was addressed. The air conditioning ran nonstop but never actually cooled the room, leaving it muggy and uncomfortable the entire time.

Basic amenities were practically nonexistent. We were given only one set of towels for the entire stay and were never informed that no additional towels would be available. When we asked for more, staff were dismissive and unhelpful. Even more surprising, we were only provided with one partial roll of toilet paper—no extra, no restock. There was also no trash service at all, so we were left to manage everything ourselves.

What made the experience even worse was the inconsistent treatment of guests. We were told we couldn’t eat food in the lobby, yet other guests were clearly allowed to without issue. It felt like we were being singled out, and it left a bad impression.

The common areas were just as concerning. There were people throwing up both in the pool and at the bar, and the entire hotel constantly smelled like marijuana. No one on staff seemed to be addressing any of these issues.

All in all, this stay was frustrating, uncomfortable, and a complete letdown. It’s extremely disappointing to see such a poorly managed experience in a property tied to a brand that usually stands for quality. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Parking was expensive. The worst part about it is that there’re no other options around so we had to pay the hefty fee.

The only downside is that if someone is sleeping on the pullout couch and they need to use the restroom, they have to go through bedroom,. But given that this place is in a hotel setting, that’s how hotels are anyway.

Dirty floor when meant we all got very dirty feet. This was really annoying and disgusting.
Bed too bouncy, whenever my partner moved it woke me up

Shower trim at bottom broken
Squeaky bathroom door, it needs WD40 on the hinges. Because the bathroom was off the bedroom every time somebody went to the toilet in the night it woke other family members up.
