Pros:

Free coffee and soda was a nice touch. The location was in the middle of the maid cafe precinct

The second tatami room was very handy.

Wonderful, would definitely stay again!
Pros:

Good location. Wonderful helpful staff, especially Josh and Maria. Fun game theme throughout the whole building and fun common room with games for rent. Great place for families with kids.

2-room apartment with 2 bathrooms offered great amenities, convenience and comfort for family of 7
Pros:

We had a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, which was awesome for our family of 3 adults and 4 children (including one toddler). The living area had a decently large table and 2 sofas to huddle around, a single washer-dryer machine in the apartment, which allowed us to load one round of washing and come back to fresh and dry laundry (as long as the load is not too full)! One of the bathrooms had a bathtub too, which was a great treat for the kids to enjoy their bubble bath. Rooms / apartment were clean, well maintained. The hotel offered a round of complimentary escape room experience, which was a blast for our kids (aged 9,11,12).

Cons:

Walls a bit thin and could hear some noise from kids upstairs.

Small boxy room with no view but good walking distance from the main parts of Osaka
Pros:

Location was good, walking distance to Dotonbori. The service was friendly. The luggage service was great at MIMARU. Games at reception available to hire and free drinks. Laundry was good.

Cons:

The room was pretty small, not much space to put luggage, compared to previous MIMARU locations. The bathroom was also small. The bed was on the ground and not very comfortable. There were games around the hotel but we weren't told about these so didn't play any (different from board game hire). Two lifts to get to the rooms was a bit annoying but ok.
