Pros:

Exceptional accommodation providing everything to a 5 * level and far superior to the listed 3 and 4 star full service hotels I've stayed at previously in Nelson. The pre and post stay contact with the owners by phone, e-mail and text message was most helpful and very much appreciated.

Cons:

1) If there had been space available in the on-site car park I would have ranked it as 6* but there was free roadside parking outside after 5pm with the Nelson's multi-storey car park less than 5 minutes walk away providing 24 hour parking for only $8, a bargain compared to the daytime use of parking meters
2) Not being able to thank the owners in person!

Our unit provided a great getaway and the kitchen had everything we needed for the occasional meal we had in the suitef
Pros:

Immaculate unit, well appointed kitchen, and washer and dryer. Also within walking distance to shops and places to eat.

Cons:

Lack of parking was a slight inconvenience but certainly not a deal breaker. There were lots of work -arounds to easily deal with this.

The place was spotless! Everything is new and very well done. It has everything one needs to enjoy your stay in comfort.

Parking can be a little challenging (we had a large vehicle).

Pros:

Great kitchen, comfortable bed, bathroom clean. Perfect for walking to the town for shopping and eating. Stirling close to hiking, lake walks and beach relaxing. We will come back again!

We had a fabulous stay far surpassing our expectations. I would rate this place 20 if I could.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Right downtown so walking to shops and restaurants as good as it gets. But the real gem is the hotel itself, it is extremely clean, the rooms are well appointed, the beds excellent, full kitchen with everything you need plus a washer/dryer in the room. This hotel is privately owned and every inch of the property shows pride of ownership, the attention to detail to make sure your stay is perfect is well appreciated. If you are looking for a different hotel experience that will put a smile on your face then stay here!

I will likely stay at this spot every time I come to Nelson. It was nice to be right downtown, and walkable distance to many amenities. Having a larger truck I was worried I would have a hard time with parking but the street parking

First family trip with our baby.
Pros:

Really clean, well stocked and lots of nice thoughtful details like to go cups for tea or coffee. Location is great, central to downtown. Good communication.

Cons:

There wasn't really an outdoor seating area, just a chair facing the parking lot and it was very noisy outside because of the pub next door. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Price was expensive for a pretty basic unit.

Pros:

The property seems like it’s brand new. It is located in the main downtown area. The wifi and air conditioning was good. The room is big and includes everything you need. It was decorated very nicely and the contactless entry was seamless. You can tell that thought and care is put into the hotel and making sure everything you need is available, including many nice little touches like beach towels. The one and only complaint is the parking. 5 stars would have been given if one parking spot is allotted to each room instead of precedence given to the suites.
