It was a great place for an overnight stay!
Pros:

My husband and I traveled to Des Moines for a concert at Hoyt Sherman Place. Our location was great and the accommodations were very nice. Comfy bed!

Horrible stay.
Pros:

NOTHING!

Cons:

Our room was not clean. There was garbage on the floor. The bed sheets were so wrinkled it looked like someone had already slept on them. Front desk gal was not friendly. We had to wait for our room even though we were a little late in our arrival. Breakfast was awful. The price was way too high for this particular hotel. Should have been priced more like a motel 6 which would have lowered our expectations.

IHG Never Disappoint
Pros:

Are stay at the Ankeny IHG was great as always! The staff is friendly, it is very clean, and the breakfast is delicious. Beds are super soft and it was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely stay there again if work calls me to this area.
