Location is great, bed is comfortable and if they upgrade their towels it will be perfect. Good price for the area.
Pros:

The rooftop seating area was the highlight. Beautiful view!

Cons:

The towels were dirty. I expected more from a property of this standard.

The location was perfect

Cons:

When I requested a late checkout, they offered me one for an extra $50. While I was pretty disappointed with that (it felt like a money grab since everyone who was staying there was there for a race which went at least until noon and checkout was 11). However, I understood and told them I should be back by 1:15. We were stuck in traffic and didn't get back until 1:30. When we arrived, we were unable to get into the room and were told that since we were past 1:15, we had to pay another $25 to get into the room. Our bags were there so we had no choice. What a totally horrible message! We were staying on an of season night, and if the host had at least told us that if we were past our time we would be charged again, although its not a great customer experience, at least we would have known what to expect. Such a shame that such a bad taste is left for something so simple.

Pros:

Welcoming, clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooftop deck has high top tables and quality lounge chairs. Beautiful view of the ocean across the street. Bikes, beach chairs and surf boards available. Would definitely stay here again!!

paradise awaits you at the end of the island
Pros:

we always go to Holgate beach. Having the opportunity to stay there for a long weekend was excellent. The staff and the accommodations were great, so much so we already have booked another long weekend at the end of the season. We also look forward to more stays in the coming years.

Got to visit family which was my plan for being there

It was close to the beach for my friend

Cons:

The room was suppose to be deluxe . Was not . No place to sit other than the bed . Just enough room to move around the bed . Heavy dust hanging from ceiling fan so didn't turn it on .

Wife and I love LBI and never knew this place existed so we gave it a shot…. Pleasantly surprised how clean and well kept the place was from the lobby to the rooftop deck! Just a great place at the end of the island for a quiet stay!

Staff was excellent and the rooms were updated and clean. Rooms w the deck are great and large outside area as well.

Would recommend any time of the year! Beach is across the street and they provide chairs/umbrellas/bikes etc
