Pros:

The place is striking and the rooms look as they did online. The air conditioning worked well. Occasionally the water stopped, only for about a minute but when you are showering…The kitchen is very pretty and has a great stove but only one small pan, one small pot, nothing with covers for cooking (perhaps the usual crowd eats out all the time?). Perfect for 3 days, one of which we spent out. Good wi-fi.

Pros:

We had the good fortune to spend two months at Casa Maria. We did not have a car so we would walk into town to get our supplies. We would take collectivos to view other parts of the coast like Tulum or Playa del Carmen. We stayed in the two bedroom two bathroom apartment. The apartment was well stocked with cooking tools. There is no washing machine so we either brought our laundry to town or hand washed. The floor to ceiling windows were amazing and were all screened. The daily breeze was fantastic so we never had to use the air conditioner. Alejandro and Jordi were always available if we had questions or needed help. They are very friendly and kind. Two cats live on the property and we enjoyed having them around. The jungle around the apartment is filled with life. The birds are incredible. We loved walking the various roads around the Casa. All so interesting. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.
