Great value for money, good service by staff, made sure all our requests were accommodated, amazing food with best views of the Hikkaduwa beach.

View from the room was nice.
We did not end up staying here, as the photos for the room did not accurately show the stay. The balcony overlooked an extremely busy road, railway line and saw mill. So it was constant loud noise, which you could hear from inside the room too. We had booked the room for the advertised balcony plunge pool, which we could not enjoy due to the noise. As we didn’t stay, we asked the hotel to refund our room, to which they refused. Don’t bother booking here, there are much nicer hotels in Hikkadwa!

Delicious food, great modern spacious apartments with a plunge pool on the balcony, which I used once in 8 days.
Far away from local towns Galle or Hikkaduwa. ( 20mins by taxi).
On a busy road with nothing close by.
Had to taxi everywhere at great expense.
Extremely dangerous to swim on the beach due to waves and strong currents.
No pool on ground level where sun loungers are located. No area to swim to cool off on ground level.
No sun loungers at small rooftop pool.
Just chairs & benches, and a couple of beanbags, so not comfortable to spend the day by the pool.
Rooftop pool is adjacent to the restaurant, so a little awkward swimming when people are eating literally beside you in a such small area. To make the most of our holiday- We left the hotel every day to travel to Unawatuna beach which is the safest beach in the area to go to a beach club to swim and sunbathe. (30 mins away by taxi).
The fully fitted kitchen had tea and coffee available- but no cutlery, utensils, plates or pots and pans to self cater.
Very disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy the facilities more- the hotel ended up as somewhere to sleep and have breakfast.

A bit far from the main town activities. Pool is tiny.
I liked the plunge pool and the view of the ocean
Water was leaking from the top floor in the bathroom + asked for water bottles but never got them.
Value for money. The Brilliant staff. The top quality restaurant food.
I can't think of anything that would be negative. As an improvement if the bar can be open until a bit later than 10.30pm that would be cool. Maybe we were there during the low season. Might be different during peak season.
