NO CONFIÉIS EN ESTE ALOJAMIENTO
Cons:

Reservamos este hotel con bastante antelación a través de Booking y teníamos la reserva totalmente confirmada, incluso con número de habitación asignado por el propio hotel.
La sorpresa fue que el mismo día de llegada, a las 14:00 (ya en horario de check-in), nos informan de que “ha habido un problema” y que no disponemos de habitación. Sin más explicaciones.
Nos dejaron literalmente en la calle en otra ciudad, teniendo que buscar alojamiento de urgencia a última hora, con precios mucho más altos y menos opciones disponibles.
La gestión por parte del hotel fue totalmente inaceptable y poco profesional. Una cancelación puede ocurrir, pero lo que no es admisible es hacerlo el mismo día, después del check-in, y sin ningún tipo de asistencia al cliente.
No lo recomendaría en absoluto. Falta total de seriedad y de responsabilidad con sus clientes.

Pros:

Nice hotel which is more like a bed and breakfast spread out on 2 floors of an old building.
The room was not big but very clean.

Cons:

There are other properties in the same building so you share the entrance, stairs and elevator.

Pros:

I loved Casa G. It’s one of the most elegant places I’ve seen recently. It’s a beautiful blend of the heritage of a historic building and the comfort of a contemporary home, with carefully selected design pieces and wonderful artisanal objects.
Breakfast is excellent, with many choices, including à la carte options (the avocado toast is a must!). The staff is discreet but attentive when needed.
I will definitely be back!

Pros:

Truly everything! Casa G is welcoming, intimate, and meticulously detailed - elegant and refined, yet also vibrant and full of character. My room was beautiful, as were the shared lounge and the breakfast area. Breakfast itself was a true pleasure, with freshly baked sweet and savoury dishes each morning - you could already smell them from the second floor! The staff was attentive, kind, and discreet. The location, combined with all of the above, makes it one of the best places to stay. After experiencing Casa G, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Florence!

Casa G was a wonderful find and to be thoroughly recommended.
Pros:

This beautiful hybrid of airbnb and hotel was fabulous. This lovely old building with high ceilings and sweeping staircases was beautifully designed and decorated. It was an oasis of comfort with excellent service. The breakfast was first class and the central location was perfect.

Cozy haven in the busy center of Florence
Pros:

The whole place feels incredibly thoughtful and beautifully put together. Our room and the common areas had this perfect balance of old-school charm and fresh, contemporary touches. The frescoed ceilings were stunning, and we loved all the little design details, the mid-century furniture, the bronze lamps, and the tiny turtles scattered around everywhere that made the space feel playful and unique. Breakfast was one of our favorite parts. It felt really intimate and personal, almost like sitting down for breakfast at nonna’s house rather than at a hotel. Hope to visit again sometime.
