Room was clean, bed was comfy
Had a cute little retro fridge and microwave
Sufficient amount of towels

Sunset Motel exceeded my expectations! The property is clean with a great view of the lake just across the street. Check in is a breeze and staff is very communicative. Highly recommend!

This beautiful remodel in process is a wonderful spot on Lake Pepin that didn’t break the bank. The owners were super kind and we think they’ve done a nice job with this Motel rehab! We are definitely going to stay again. Thanks to Doug, his wife and the Sunset Motel!!

Beautiful view of sunrise and sunset. Room was decorated nice and cute details. Would be nice to have a table in the room. The air stopped working the last night and the sink could use repair. Overall though, it was comfortable for a couple nights and convenient to everything. Friendly and easy access. Let us have a late check out as well. Pet friendly a bonus and pool was nice.

Quiet and ver nice!!

Really nice place, with a nice view of the lake. The walls are pretty thin and our neighbors were banging doors late into the evening, but we would definitely stay again.

The property was very clean. Our room was clean and nice. Pool was fun for the kids.

Great view of Lake Pepin & Mississippi River. Hotel has lawn chairs to watch the wide riverfront view. We didn't use the outdoor pool, but several guests without any issues. We ate dinner at Big Bear pizza and breakfast at Heidi's Hugga-Mugga cafe. We went to the city's dog-park with Rocky and visited the beach & fountains by the marina.

Cute little motel right off the main road. Stayed on a Saturday night & it was quiet! It's a bit rustic/a bit updated, a bit mid-century & it works. It's as charming as the town it's set in.

Comfortable, convent, and cute

Sunset Motel was clean and nicely decorated. The location was perfect for the activities we came to do in Lake City. Thanks for the great communication! The only negative with the room was the blinds being too long to completely close and block out the light from the outdoor lighting fixture outside our door. Perhaps adding curtains would help darken the room for sleeping.

Extremely clean and such an easy check in process! Beds very comfortable!

Hotel nice rooms clean needs a little work no tables in room had to eat on the bed and not a towel rack in bathroom to hang up wet towels over all had a nice stay not a place for a week end stay

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Our family can spread out in the bungalow!! Great location too!! This was our second time there, we will be back for sure!!!!
