Hotel was fine, fees were a bit ridiculous. 50 per day extra for amenities and required purchases from the hotel store or restaurant seemed a bit excessive.

Clean & Quiet
Check in was late and Check out was early. Portland Marathon weekend and there was no time to come back to the hotel to shower. At over $600 a night, exceptions should have been made for runners for one day a year. Other hotels in the area made exceptions.
The property was in an excellent location and the staff was very helpful!

The location is excellent-close to restaurants, stores and the water. The staff were excellent; the room was comfortable and very clean. We ate breakfast each morning, and it was delicious.

The room was lovely. Reasonable size and nice view over the skyline of Portland. great Location right next to Shipyard Brewery which was one of the reasons we had come to the town and a very short walk from the water and the narrow gauge railways as well as load of food options.

The explanation about costings and what money was taken from us was dodgy and we are still confused about how and why we've been charged.
Car parking was advertised at $30 on all bookings but when we arrived we were told the only option was valet parking at $40.
We were charged a $100 fee for incidentals when we arrived and were told by the member of staff we would get this back 3-5 days after we checked out. When we went to check out we were told we would not be getting this money back as it was being used to cover a tax payment, a food voucher and parking which we had already paid for separately. We explained this and demanded the money be returned and they sent us an itemized bill which was even more confusing than the original explanation. Just felt very shady and manipulative. We are now only getting $55 of our charge back.
