A pleasant relaxing value for a getaway today.
Pros:

Loved it booking for the rest of the week and weekend. The management and staff was courteous and pleasant. The hotel was clean and everything worked on complaint a nothing really. Washer didn’t work. That’s it everything else was excellent.

Cons:

No washer at the time late March 26 I think.

Adequate for needs, but kitchenette and breakfast were disappointments.
Pros:

The property was easy to get to, clean, and comfortable. It was adequate for my needs.

Cons:

The provided breakfast was a few pre-packaged muffins, some cold cereal, and unrefrigerated yogurt. Technically, breakfast was provided, practically, not so much. The kitchenette had a non-working two-burner stove, microwave, and cheap k-cup coffee maker. No cooking utensils, only two bowls, one small plate, and one spoon. Again, technically there was a kitchenette, practically, not so much.

So accommodating I don’t want to leave.
Pros:

My stays at the Scottish in and sweets was quiet comfortable and all my needs were met at a high level. The staff accommodated my needs only two things wheb tge washer dry was diwn and when they couldn’t rebreather my stsy had to move forward they couldbf do it. Thought i was a bad tenant. I accepted with out arguement because everything else was so over the top in a good way. Lover it. Everytime I need some shower or whatever I choose SOAS. Like today.

Cons:

Not but two thing one dibt go into booking problem and stairs washer/dryer was. Diwn.inconvenient more than bad.

Inexpensive and convenient to stay near the Galveston County Fairgrounds..very basic. Its ok.
Pros:

It is a budget friendly hotel. I would say it's sort of minimalist. The front desk was pleasant, the room seemed relatively clean. The bedding was minimal. 3 pillows for the 2 of us and the blankets a little thin. The TV channels were good. There were sufficient towels for our stay. The bathroom door needs some repair (we were in 210)..
We go there for cookoff judging and its adequate and relatively inexpensive for that purpose but if you are looking for luxury accommodations you will be disappointed.

Cons:

there was a little trash on the bathroom floor when we arrived..the bathroom door jam was broken..it needs to be fastened to the frame.. it works but if you pull on the door knob, it pulls out of the opening....the coffee was not good in the room but at least they provided it. Its a very very basic room but beats camping :-)

It served its purpose for our trip, but I would not stay there again.
Pros:

The staff switched our room when the first room we booked (which was supposed to be non-smoking) was a room where someone had definitely smoked. They have a "breakfast" but it is only carb-rich foods.

Cons:

Our first room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it wasn't. Our second room had half the lights that were not working, the bedding had cigarette holes and it was not cleaned well. We didn't have soap for the two sinks. The beds were hard and sheets were threadbare.

It was not good!
Pros:

The ac worked.

Cons:

The room had several holes in the wall, looked like someone kicked it. Stains on all of the bedding. Mattress and pillows were hard as a rock. Could hear everything going on in the next room. Other guest told me they had a family of roaches in their room. Not worth trying to save a few bucks.
