The hotel was great and having a pool when bored was a good bonus. Soda Sanchez is close so everyone recommends that but it’s boring. Close to bus terminal. Not much to do IN Quepos, not anything of interest that’s walkable. Dead at night.

As a solo female Traveler this hostel is safe and the staff goes above and beyond should be accommodating and kind. Helen at the front desk was my Lifesaver more than once. And Henry gave me a great location to get a tattoo at an incredible rate & artistry. Laying beside the beautiful pool there are several McCalls that came and eat in the trees. It's fantastic. The cleanliness is off the charts. The safety was fantastic. Highly recommended. Highly recommended for solo female Travelers. Highly recommended for everyone.

This hostel is near everything you need. ATM is two steps out the door (costs $2 to use), the swimming pool is really nice, sunloungers to use are in good condition and well placed, short walk to shops and restaurants and there's a restaurant that is attached to the hostel that does great breakfast for a good price. I would recommend paying extra for a room with air-conditioning because around day 3, I couldn't take much more of our stuffy room.

I took a Rm in Mar 2024
1- This place is Hostel & not Hotel as it was advertised.

2- Bedrooms are very very small: 6ft x 9ft where half is taken by bed. That's why they don't show too many pics of Bdrms in their entirety. My bedroom had a window to the next Rm & curtains do not cover the windows entirely.
3- Rooms don't have a private bath and for that you have to go to the other side of the building; and if you have to shave, you go to the other side in the opposite direction.
4- Showers don't have hot water .
5- No Rm has AC WHICH IS A MUST for this area of CR.
6- The beautiful pool chairs shown in their ad are ripped where your butt rests and so much that a man's foot can go through.
7- In the heat & humidity of the March, there is no freezer to produce any ice.
8- At night, they don't leave any, say 9 Watt light on in the long dark restroom area, so in the middle of the night you don't have to look for the light switch or go to bathroom in pitch dark, or you don't stumble over 3 inch steps.
9- showers don't have any soap/shampoo holders or a hook for your towel.

Our family of 5 (kids age 11/16/17) stayed in the 2 bedroom house on the property. It was perfectly set up for our family, with our own kitchen, living room & outside deck with patio set.

Receptionist was not helpful at all. Rude. This place is for people with a very low budget.

Water in our room was on and off. Toilet does not flush (well maybe after 10 times). Air conditioning poor.

WOW!! Perfect place for the solo traveller. Wonderful room(s), tirelessly helpful and friendly staff. Perfectly forces you to relax and share your stories/CS experience with like minds. Great vibe xx

I think this place has no fault. The kitchen is pretty well equipped, bathrooms, toilets, and showers. i did laundry as well for 8$ , clean the beds are comfortable, the room is spacious, charging outlets inside the lockers which is amazing

They’re doing quite a bit of construction on the property and I really think they should tell you that before booking

They are very strict about the 3pm check in time. We came in from a bus before 3pm & they weren’t pleased. We came back at 2:50pm and they told us our room might not be ready as check in is at 3pm as they turned around and grabbed the key.
Our room was beyond hot. We were in a hallway with no airflow close to the kitchen and it was awful— even with the fan blowing on us the entire night.
The pool made the stay!! We were in there twice a day & loved it!!!!

Trotz der Größe sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, schöner Garten. Jederzeit wieder, gute Lage zum Busbahnhof nicht weit.

Really nice hotel. Clean rooms, swimming pool. Recomend getting room with AC as it gets hot in Quepos. Friendly staff. Coffee and tea available 24x7. There is a kitchen with utensils if you want to cook. Good location.
