It’s beautifully decorated throughout. It’s quirky and interesting. With lovely attention to detail, for example all the games in the bar.
Nothing. The rooms are over a number of floors so recommend you request a room on a lower floor if stairs are a problem for you.
Location. People. Decor. Cosy environment. Lots of little touches. Exceptionally clean. Quality fixtures and fittings. Great little bar.
Tele too small- but that’s about my eyesight probably! Can see why it’s a small one given wall space.

Breakfast was really good quality but was an extra cost. The room and whole of the hotel was excellent and very well decorated. Ideal location for the Hoe, Sutton harbour etc , as both within easy walking distance.
Couldn’t see anything on the website about breakfast and had to ask about it on arrival.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel, comfortable and decorated beautifully.
Room was a little cold for me but my partner found it was no problem. I didn’t ask about heating and I’m sure staff would have turned the heating up had I asked. But maybe it could be slightly warmer when you arrive in the room. Would just make the lovely room feel cosy.
Breakfast was excellent, bath in the room was divine. Shower was large with great pressure. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The hotels is close to the town centre and lots of eateries.
There was nothing I disliked
Excellent little hotel perfect location for a visit to the Hoe and Barbican or a show at the Pavilions.
The hosts were spectacularly helpful. They were right there to meet me and show me to my room when I arrived.
So many of the "touristy" things that I was interested in were within walking distance. The Plymouth Ho, the Mayflower Steps Memorial and Museum, the Gin Distillery, and the Barbican, which was a perfect walk around for a first timer.
This was one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have been in.

Everything! The warm welcome, ease of check-in. the location close to Plymouth Ho and some excellent restaurants, the bar, our room with water, tea/coffee and biscuits and the truly exceptional breakfast, cooked and served by our host who seemed to do everything in the place
