Muy bien situado. El personal muy amable. Pilamos la habitación de tres camas porque íbamos con los dos niños y todo muy bien. Pudimos dejar la maleta antes de check in y el día de la salida. Está ubicado en un sitio inmejorable.

Una sorpresa

Uno reserva en el Hyde Park Gardens Hotel en Londres con ese precio sospechosamente bajo y asume que ha cometido un error vital.

Sin embargo, llegas, entras en la habitación… y el guion no se cumple.

El hotel está claramente renovado, con un diseño cuidado que mezcla modernidad con un punto de sofisticación clásica bastante logrado. El baño, directamente, juega en otra liga: materiales impecables, sensación de limpieza real y acabados que no corresponden en absoluto con lo que uno espera en este rango de precio. La habitación individual es pequeña —muy Londres— pero está inteligentemente resuelta, sin sensación de dejadez ni improvisación.

La ubicación, además, roza lo ridículo: Hyde Park a pocos metros, lo cual hace que uno empiece a sospechar seriamente que algo no está bien en la ecuación.

Y efectivamente, algo no está del todo alineado: esto no es un hotel al uso. No hay ascensor (experiencia británica auténtica) y el conjunto funciona más como una casa de huéspedes muy bien vestida que como un hotel con servicios completos. Falta ese “todo integrado” que uno espera en un establecimiento más estructurado.

Ahora bien, aparece el factor humano: el personal de recepción es excepcional. Amabilidad, cercanía y disposición poco habituales, de esas que te hacen replantearte cualquier pequeña incomodidad.

En resumen: no es un hotel perfecto ni pretende serlo. Pero es elegante, está cuidado, tiene personalidad y una ubicación privilegiada. Y por ese precio, sinceramente, uno se va a dormir esperando que aparezca un fantasma o un asesino en serie, simplemente para que todo tenga algo más de sentido.

Porque si no, cuesta entenderlo.

Pros:

Zona a mio parere comodissima, servita da ogni servizio comprese due fermate di metropolitana a pochi passi. Ottimo per visitare alcune zona interessanti. Zona tranquilla anche per le uscite serale
