No Aircon in bedroom. Bedroom wasn’t very clean with dusty shelves, drawers and bathroom door paint peeling off. Very unorganised in bar area for food especially when sitting outside.

The food was very nice, very impressed and the staff in the restaurants were very friendly

Cons:

The rooms lacked space to put things on, which didn't help with the massive lamps taking up table top space, no where to make tea and coffee or even put your bag on. ended up boiling kettle on floor, as just no space. . Kettle had rust in the bottom. Rooms disappointing.

Pros:

The hotel is well located at the southern edge of the Lake District. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and looked after us extremely well. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Our room was very clean.

Pros:

Location excellent. Staff helpful and good. Food reasonable. Lovely breakfast and good choices. Plenty of car parking space.

Cons:

Hardly any drawer space. No extractor fan in bathroom. As a Jack Sprat, I found the gammon a struggle.

Good location but everything else was disappointing
Pros:

The location!

Cons:

Paid for an upgrade. Key thing was broke, air-conditioning was broke, towel rail broke, tv wouldn't turn off and no fridge. Very old decor. Asked for the room the be cleaned 2 days and no one did it. Bad layout, no curtains and blinds didn't work.

Pros:

Fantastic location, great spa, nice decor around the hotel

Cons:

Not enough staff in restaurant areas so meals took a long time, other customers complaining about mistakes made. Staff were lovely and trying their best to give a good service but were overworked in my opinion. Room a little tired in some areas for price paid.

Great hotel that could not do enough for you, well worth the stay!

Facilities, location just great setting.

Cons:

If anything dinner was a little slow we waited over an hour for food and had a hungry child but was excellent when it arrived!
