Hotel Dunas

Terrible service would not pay us back OUR money that we paid for a hotel room that we did not stay at we came to Ciudad Juárez for a few weeks and unsure of what day my visa would arrive so we paid one more extra day and instead of paying us back our money or giving us any breakfast for the breakfast either for our flight back for the service that we paid for, even bugs on toilet paper their only excuse is that they don’t give your money back when you pay online terrible attitude terrible service overall I’m very upset stress on top of stress

Staff treated us like family, clean rooms and attentive to our needs, will recommend to everyone

First day bathroom was a little dirty.

This place is in a close distance to the American consulate, really convenient.

I did not like that do not have a refrigerator to have our drinks cold.

Loved the access it had to everything, bathroom is the only thing that needs a little update

Great stay for what we needed

Staff changed my hotel at the last minute. The day I was going to check-in they sent me a message saying that they were changing the hotel to another one, they didn’t say why. We ended up staying at another hotel farther from the U.S. consulate and that was the main reason why I had chosen Dunas because it was close to the Consulate and Hospital and CAS. We had to walk 40 mins to get to those places and the days were hot! It’s not fair they did that to us at the last minute! The only good thing was that there was a park near the other hotel and it helped the days go a little faster!

Nos encantó aquí, está muy cercas del consulado. Estando en un proceso muy estresante, tener la facilidad de todo tan cercas y sentirse seguro en este hotel, ayuda mucho. Los encargados del hotel siempre muy amables y a la orden para cualquier cosa. Recomiendo mucho este hotel. Además, los desayunos muy caseros y ricos.

Personalmente no puedo pedir mucho debido al presio, aunque en la limpieza dejó mucho que desear. Las coladeraras, y lava manos estancados que no funcionaban bien y se estancaba el agua, sumándole la suciedad del lavamanos.
El personal por el contrario muy funcional, atentos y amables. :)

This place reminded me of the greyhound bus station horrible.

Overall the hotel was nice. Only complaint was with our room. Walls are paper thin so you could hear absolutely EVERYTHING loud and clear happening in the room next door. We were on the first floor which was convenient however again you can hear all the commotion outside.

It’s a good place to stay

Excellent stay! Great staff! Close to everything!

The staff itself was great. The building they placed us was very old. The toilet and shower were very stinky. It acerbated my allergies… coughing and sneezing all night. The door did not have the extra door lock. It felt unsafe to sleep, even though they had security at entrance of building. My husband and I were not able to stay there past the first night. We moved hotels!!! But Alejandro and the manager of the day were very helpful and understanding. They did offer to move us to the newer building. But, we had already made reservations for the other hotel.
