Was ok hotel but it could use a little TLC.
Pros:

Close to everything

Cons:

A little out dated, thin towels, dirty bathroom floor, pillows too thin, toilet tank lid cracked, rip in curtain, not many channels on tv.

Cons:

I phoned the Bedford early on the evening and asked how late I was able to check in, I was told it didn't matter I could check in 24/7, just call the number on the door. Arrived around 1am, no answer, tried to call for two hours, never got in. I up spending more then double the money I paid, and taking a taxi 20 minutes each way with my young daughter. Spending an extra $300 that was unexpected two days before Christmas was upsetting. Im an only parent of 3, money is tight. I returned the next day and they appolgized, said I had to contact booking for a refund which I have and no reply. I've been a customer at the Bedford for more than 20 years, stayed there multiple times yearly. Not happy with the new owners, the last owners this would not of happened. The owner is an errogant prick, will not be staying there ever again. I believe I deserve a refund for there mistake.

Hotel was good, but the whole area around the hotel was under construction and blocked off. Not the hotels fault, but was definitely an inconvenience. (Late July, 2025)

Pros:

The location is great. Nice and close to stores and restaurants. We were staying because of my husband’s Christmas party and wanted a place that we could walk to and from.

Cons:

We got a king room. The bed was terrible. It was uncomfortable. Our friends had a joining room with us and had two queen beds and theirs were quite soft and comfy. Next year I would get a room like that instead.

Cozy and old fashion in a nice way.
Pros:

The hotel design inside and out. Not having elevator is not so nice, but the stairs are like traveling in time. Breakfast is nice and offered in a beautiful room.

Cons:

Loud music around until 2am. We found a bee in the bedroom and we had to clean up some spiders webs on the wall. TV was not working, they solved the problem but took a time. Their priority is the bar on the bottom floor. Reception is empty most of the time, and we had to go to the bar to get our request attend.

bedsheets had stains, room very very dusty , huge gap under door to hallway, tiles coming out of bathroom floor, sink was obviously not cleaned, garbage left on floor

Pros:

No one at the front desk. The guy at the bar was rude and the lady that checked us out didn’t even lift her head. We booked 5 nights, left after the first. The tub was so gross we wouldn’t even shower and we kept our shoes on because the floor in our room was that gross. Booked the king suite with fireplace, showed up, no fireplace
