Pros:

We love the location, the food in the restaurant is good as well. We have stayed here before and would probably stay again.

Cons:

The bed did not have enough pillows for the 2 of us. It could use a little bit of updating. There was no staff upon checkout and no clear instructions.

Thwlocation is really good.

Cons:

It is a very old and dated building. The bed was not comfortable and the air-conditioning was not adequate for the room. All in all in was an ok stay. But the room was musty and not the cleanest.

No dogs allowed on patio! Wth
Pros:

Location nice, but note dogs NOT allowed on patio so we couldn’t stay. 1st time ever that we haven’t been allowed on the outside patio with our puppy, stopped at legion instead for a drink cheaper and much friendlier!

The only reason we would stay there again would be location.

The location on the Square was great.

Cons:

The air conditioning in the room could have been on when we arrived. It was 83 degrees in the room when we got there. The continental breakfast was not great. The staff were not very friendly or helpful.

Will not stay there again.
Pros:

It was a continental. We went down to the local restaurant for bacon and eggs.

Cons:

Not enough staff we had to go to the bar next store to check in. Next day we were in and out of the hotel the lady at the desk didn't even great us once.

Excited but Disappointed
Pros:

I believe this hotel was a great stay in its heyday. Unfortunately, the current owners show very little concern for this gem. The front desk girl would have rather been elsewhere. She could've cared less that we were checking in. The room smelled. Was it the old AC? Was it the old carpet? I don't know but it was hard to breathe. There were hydro plates that were broken. The wires for the TV were hanging all over. There were a lot of items for each plug. The toilet paper holder was broken. There was mold in the bathroom. The curtains were ripped. The breakfast was minimal and the milk was spoiled. It could be a lovely place but there's no care put into it. I booked it because of how cute it looked. I recommend looking from the street and booking elsewhere.
