The location is ideal for anyone heading to the slopes at Himos Ski Resort. Everything you need for a ski holiday is close by. The hotel has good parking, which made arriving and unloading gear very easy. One of the highlights was the well-equipped ski drying room – it even had a proper waxing table, which is a big plus for skiers.
The facilities were nice and practical. There is a pool table, as well as a dartboard, table football and table hockey for use free of charge There’s a communal kitchen that seemed well equipped, so it would be easy to prepare your own meals if you prefer. Right next to the hotel there’s a Thai restaurant and a burger restaurant, both serving decent food. If you want more options, the centre is only about 1.5 km away, where you’ll find more restaurants as well as grocery stores.
Some reviews mention that the hotel feels a bit old, and while it’s not brand new or luxurious, we found it perfectly suitable for a ski vacation. The rooms were not cold during our stay, and everything worked as it should. If you’re looking for affordable accommodation and good value for money close to the slopes, this place does the job very well.
Breakfast is served across the street at a gas station. It was okay – not anything special, but perfectly fine to start a day on the slopes.
Overall, a solid and practical choice for a ski trip.
