Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sehr bemüht. Sowohl beim Empfang als auch der Bar.
Kleine Zimmer, sauberkeit ist OK, jedoch erwarte ich von einem Le Meridien mehr. Größere Zimmer, besser in Stand gesetzt und sauberer.
Abbiamo avuto una esperienza superba durante il nostro soggiorno nell’hotel Le Meridien 5th avenue che si trova a due passi dall’Empire State Building e a pochi minuti di cammino da Times Square. Tutto il personale è molto cordiale ma in particolare voglio sottolineare la estrema professionalità e cordialità del guest manager Guven e del suo Collega Wei nel supportarci e trovare immediate ed effettive soluzioni a piccoli inconvenienti, mostrando una cura ed una attenzione fuori dal comune che non ho mai riscontrato in nessun hotel neppure in un 5 stelle! Hanno reso il nostro soggiorno piacevole e rilassante paragonabile ad un rientro a casa propria ( come usava dirci il portiere di notte quando rientravamo in hotel). Grazie Mr Guven e Mr Wei per la vostra squisita professionalità, e grazie a tutto il personale dell’hotel!!!

Very late cleaning the room and one day not cleaned at all. Towels were quite poor quality and no big bath sheets.

SMALLER THAN A CRUISE ROOM. 1. Was not aware that a room with 2 beds would not require a private shower. I have two teen boys and had to shower with a glass door covered in towels. Eventually I asked for a shower curtain. 2. The rooms have no overhead lighting and it’s dark.

Le Méridien Fifth Avenue is a good hotel in an excellent location — just steps from the Empire State Building and within easy walking distance to both Times Square and Central Park.
The rooms aren’t large, but they’re modern, clean, and comfortable, making them a solid option for a short stay. There are no suites on the property and no Marriott Bonvoy lounge, so elite travelers should keep expectations in check.
Breakfast was very good with attentive service in the morning. However, the evening bar scene was a bit uncomfortable — the staff seemed to argue among themselves, with one bartender clearly being picked on by another, which created an awkward atmosphere.
Overall, it’s a great location and comfortable stay, but the service culture at night could use some refinement to match the otherwise polished experience
I did not know what to expect because this was my first time staying at a Le Meridien. I was blown away. Let me say I am a solo traveler so the room being small did not bother me. I booked the Excelsior King room and it was great. She even gave me a room facing 5th Ave. Also, for those that are wondering the room I had, had a door for the bathroom. It was one of those sliding doors that NYC are known for. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because the bed for super firm. Other than that I would stay here again.
