Palatial feel, contemporary architecture, size of room, location

Cons:

The stay was gift to family that travelled from Victoria to see Vivid. They dropped their baggage off at 9.30 pm and checked in and advised room would be ready at 3.00 pm but would txt if earlier. Arrived back at 3.00 pm to be told they had to check on the room. After waiting until 4.00pm they went back and checked again. The room was not ready but instead they offered an upgrade. Great room but unfortunately did not have a view of the Sydney Harbour bridge which was agreed to at booking to make the most of Vivid.

Wonderful hotel and the Opera House room was excellent but go elsewhere for meals and drinks.

The cost of the food and drinks at the restaurants is exorbitant for what you get.

Lazy rude stuff in a premium hotel !
Pros:

Pool area pool staff amazing.

Cons:

Rude conceirge . Booking asked for cot wasnt supplied.
Asked for room to be cleaned not once but twice and still wasnt done.
Had blinds shut on me lights turned off with a phone call at exactly 11am check out time disregarding i had a new born and 2 kids and had checked in a 8pm. Very Rude services !!

The view of the harbour bridge was not very impressive. There was a construction site below and the view of the bridge was not a great view. I would ask for the view on other side in next visit

Pros:

Very impressed with the whole experience! The hotel is magnificent, the facilities, exceptional, the staff, extremely helpful and accommodating.

Cons:

Being a hotel recognized internationally and of maintaining high standards, enforcing stricter dress codes, especially when dining. i.e no skimpy exercise clothing, would be appreciated. I understand guests want to be comfortable, but it is about respecting yourself, and others around you. This would only enhance the exclusiveness and appeal of your hotel.
