It was too "cool" concept hotel for us
Pros:

Gym was a good one, Clean. Cool vibe in general

Cons:

After staying another 4 star hotel, coming here was a bit of disappointment. Although cool aesthetic, clean and room was a big enough for two of us to stay for 5 nights, I wouldn't say it was spacious, especially paying a bit extra for slightly bigger room. The entire bathroom was about the size of other hotel's walk-in shower, although it was functional.
The biggest issue for me was that there was no fridge in the room, nor desk or sofa to work nor eat. No kettle to make tea nor coffee in the room. After while I understood this hotel is trying to invite guest to hangout in the common area, but I guess we are too old for that ? Plus free water is cool, but no carafe is provided so basically I went to buy a bottle of water elsewhere so I can fill it to take it up to the room, so I can drink overnight. Also free tea/coffee is cool, but from 11:30pm to 11:30am ?? How about afternoon ??
I still prefer to have those items in the room - my husband also got sick during the stay, which meant that I had to change my clothes and go down to the lobby every time he needed something warm, and it felt inconvenient. I should have checked those facts before make reservation but I must admit that I was in rush.
There was no real reception and we had to do self-check in. The problem is that we CANNOT get the 2nd key by self-check in, so we had to wait for quite sometime for someone who is making a drink also to get us the 2nd key.... what's the point of self-check in, if it cannot make the 2nd key.... hummmmm.....

It was a quick trip so manageable.
Pros:

It was a clean property. Especially the lobby.

Cons:

The bathroom had a curtain to separate the shower from toilet and sink. They have no lights except a lamp for the room. It was really hot the air conditioner was weak.

Great location in Berlin
Pros:

Great room for the price located close to Berlin's city centre! The hotel felt lively and it is a great place to meet others travelling through.

The room was exceptionally clean and staff were attentive. The facilities were also very nice.

Pros:

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, das Zimmer war wie beschrieben im top Zustand. Wir waren während einem sehr heißen Wochenende dort und die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert. Alles war sehr sauber und es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. ich bin bei Hotels oft sehr pingelig, aber es war wirklich super sauber und auch das Bad war toll geputzt. Am tollsten fande ich, dass man sich in der Lobby jederzeit gratis Wasser mit Kohlensäure oder auch ohne holen konnte. Auch wenn man kein Frühstück gebucht hat, gab es sogar ab 23:30 Uhr bis 11:30 Uhr morgens gratis Kaffee an der Kaffeemaschine.

Cons:

Beim Checkin kann man selber ein iPad verwenden. Nach der langen Anreise war ich sehr übermüdet und ich hatte Probleme beim einchecken, weil ich mehrere Namen in der Buchung angegeben hatte. Nach circa 10 Minuten vergeblich probieren. Am iPad hat mich dann einen Mitarbeiter eingecheckt. Ich persönlich finde es einfach schöner, wenn man in einem Hotel ankommt begrüßt wird und auch eingecheckt wird. Da ist der persönliche Kontakt doch einfach schön und man muss sich selber um nichts kümmern das gehört finde ich zu einem Hotel Aufenthalt dazu. Ist natürlich aber auch nur eine kleine Anmerkung und kein Weltuntergang. Mir wurde auch schlussendlich weitergeholfen und ich konnte mein Zimmer dann auch beziehen. :)
