WDREI Hotel

Perfect location but even better, in a very quiet courtyard. Loved the complimentary drinks. Natasha was so friendly and helpful. Would stay there again for sure. No restaurant and bar made it a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Greal hotel, great staff, great location

We stayed there 3 nights, lighting in the room was terrible, stepping out of the shower with no grip rails terrible, if fact I slipped getting out and landed on the tiled bathroom floor when the bath met skidded out when I stepped on it. We definitely loved the location but that’s it, won’t be staying there again. 🇦🇺

Small, uniques hotel. Very friendly staff. Large, modern room. Very convenient to major Munich attractions such as Marienplatz, Hofbräuhaus, Residenz, etc.

Great proximity to the Christmas Market. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Quiet, clean, and in the perfect location to walk the city center. There are not a lot of staff, but the ones there are very friendly and helpful. We loved the unique design of the hotel, and the rooms felt like little apartments. Having a balcony was so nice. Also, the showers are excellent; very good water pressure and instant hot water! The beds were also very comfortable.

Overall, a great stay!

Small, clean hotel in a central location. Very clean and comfortable, room had plenty of mood lighting but the option of a brighter light would have been useful. Communal kitchen facilities and choice of drinks and snacks on second floor was useful but a kettle in the room would have been great.

I think the main thing I like about the hotel is location and convenience to everything. I also liked my room. It was the best of the 4 hotels I stay in on my vacation to Germany. I would stay here again if I come back to Germany.

A wonderful little local hotel right in the old town. Just a couple of minutes from the christmas markets. Lovely room and helpful staff.

We just spent 12 days touring the Christmas Markets, staying in various branded hotels. I have to say that although WDREI does not offer a restaurant or many other facilities of a large hotel it more than makes up for it with the friendliness of the staff (they are like family to you from the moment you walk in the front door), the overall cleanliness and the comfort of everything right down to the bed. It is like no other hotel we have ever stayed in, all I can say is AMAZING!!! This is undoubtably "The Best Hotel" of our trip, it beat all the branded hotels by a HUGE margin. Thank you to all at WDREI, we hope to stay with you again in the future.

No tv was a little disappointing

We had two rooms here and both rooms were lovely and came with bottle of Prosecco. Staff were lovely and no complaints would defo return!

We stayed at WDREI for 5 nights in November 2024 and absolutely loved the property. We would highly recommend to anyone staying in Munich! It is a 5 minute walk to Marienplatz with tons of restaurants, shops, and sights all around. Very close to two different train stations as well. The room was clean upon arrival, the bathroom was very large. The staff was very accommodating and let us check in as soon as our room was ready as we had a red eye flight and arrived in Munich early in the morning, so we very much appreciated being able to check in earlier than expected. They also have a common area where you can purchase drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic which was super convenient. They also have items you can borrow such as speakers, hair straighteners, etc. This was a lifesaver, as my hair straightener broke from being overwhelmed by my converter. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had about the surrounding areas or restaurant recommendations. One of the staff members also went out of her way to help us with some ticket issues we were having for a an event we had purchased tickets to in Munich. The rooms are all painted black so it is a little hard to see at night sometimes, so I wish there was a little more lighting available in the rooms. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will be back to stay with WDREI if we ever find ourselves in Munich again!

I loved my room. It was beautifully appointed with stunning drawings on the walls and very cozy furniture. The front staff was extremely helpful and warm. Great location near Marienplatz, too. I also love the concept of keeping it simple yet very beautiful. No TV. A great “Honesty Bar” with sodas etc. and hot water, etc. FIVE stars, for sure.

Great service and hotel, a very nice surprise finding this hotel

Really enjoyable stay here in a great part of Munich. Very close to the centre but nice and quiet too. The balcony option was great and was used for morning coffees and early evening G&Ts! Highly recommended.

Amazing experience. We will return.
