The staff is what I'd like to comment on. The manager and Filipina at desk were two of the most wonderful people on this earth. Went way way beyond their duties to help me with an airline situation that saved me thousands. I cannot thank them enough, karma will be good to you both and I will not ever forget your kindness.

Honestly we almost always leave good reviews and we always close an eye for minor things but if there is one thing that I don’t tolerate, anywhere, is being lied to.
On the night before our last day, before going to dinner we stopped at reception to ask informations about arranging our transfer from Puerto princesa to el nido as we weren’t sure if we wanted to leave one day earlier than we originally planned and wanted to discuss it over dinner having all the information.
We were told that the price for shared transfer was 700 per person and the price for private transfer was 1700 per persons.
After dinner we come back and decided to book a private transfer for the next day. At that point we are told that the price is 7000 (it is 2 of us).
We go back and forth for a couple of minutes with me asking what changed and why she told us just one hour earlier that the price was 1700 per person, she swears she never said that and that I must have misunderstood, she then call a manager that confirmed that price for private transfer was always 7000.
At that point my wife remembers that actually she already had that conversation a couple of weeks earlier, while booking the hotel on booking.com she also asked prices for excursions, transfers, airport pick-ups ecc.. so she pulls out the chat with the hotel and there, back on white there is their text saying that the prices for transfer to el nido are 700 per person for shared and 1700 per person for private. The manager reads the text, makes a couple of phone calls and then just told us that “there was a misunderstanding”, interesting that the “misunderstanding” was exactly the same number the receptionists told us just an hour earlier as well.
Anyway he told us there is nothing he can do and price for private transfer is still 7000.
Very poor experience overall, we are glad we left a day early.
