Very clean and modern. Beds were super comfy and could crank the AC in the room. Concierge helped us arrange late check out so we could transition seamlessly to the next step of our trip. Shoutout Bruce B!

Everything was amazing! The cleanliness, the customer service, and the food were all excellent. The hotel is also in a perfect location, right in front of the ocean and in the town center, so you can easily walk around and explore. I highly recommend this hotel for your next trip, no doubt!

As someone that travels extensively for work, I stay in hotels extremely often. I had a totally stress free stay here and everything was absolutely perfect for my standards (nothing missing, spotless rooms, room service was amazing, and the front desk/general staff balance being calm and inviting with being quick to be of service. Did I mention it's location and grounds are absolutely epic?!? The atmosphere/vibe is exquisite and is a good launch base for San Cristobal activities.

Excellent stay at a very nice hotel. The hotel itself is perfectly positioned on the boardwalk, direct views of sea lions playing all day, great pool area.

The staff was also really thoughtful - it was my friends birthday a few days before and they brought him a cake. They also made sure we had everything we needed / were very attentive.

Awesome, modern, luxurious hotel. Infinity pool is awesome- overlooks sea lion beach.

We spent 8 blissful days in the Galapagos and this Indigo was absolute perfection for our home base. The property was fabulous, the staff were the best and the location was unbeatable!

Excellent location, beautifully maintained and exceptional service. Can’t say enough about this hotel. It is the best luxury hotel on the island by far.
Rooms were clean, spacious and well stocked. AC worked great - which is important on a tropical humid island.
Breakfast is great - it was included with our Amex rate/booking. Buffet only. Great coffee. Friendly service.
Location is right on the main shore drag with plenty of seals in view on the beach close by. The beach there is swimmable but not many folks do. The piers are close by too. Restaurants are all walking distance as are shops. Extremely safe area.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and great service, but terribly expensive - and the prices go up the closer you get to the date you want to stay there.

When I arrived my booking through Expedia hadn't gone through, which caused a bit of panic. However, the reception staff and manager were hugely accommodating and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable.

It's a really great hotel. All the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome from saying hello when you walk in the door to remembering what you like for breakfast.

They also filled my water bottle up for me every day with clean water with ice.

The rooms are amazing, right on the end of the strip. Fabulous views over the bay. If you can, get an ocean view room and one of the 3 that are closest to the lift, as they have the best views. Mine was set back a little. It was still fabulous, but I think the other balcony views would be better.

The bed is enormous and the bed and pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. I had some of the best nights' sleep of my whole holiday there.

There are sealions are below the room which add to the soundscape day and night!

The restaurant was just a level up from the street and i dont think I could ever get tired of having breakfast and watching sealions playing just below you on the street and the sea; seeing black iguanas just wandering up the street and even a pelican on the post just below the restaurant.

The pool is nice, if not the biggest, and there is also a jacuzzi. It is definitely best hotel in Punya Baquiriz by a country mile.

The one negative i would say, other than the price of the rooms, is don't have a massage here though. Prices are a rip off. They charge €150 an hour when literally 2 doors up the road it's €85 an hour and €120 for 90 minutes and the massages are super. IHG is shooting itself in the foot here.

Just wonderful, with endlessly helpful staff, superbly appointed rooms and guest areas, centrally located just yards from the sea. This hotel was booked as the main part of a ‘big birthday’ trip for my wife who enjoyed it immensely.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Blue Indigo. The room and facilities were stunning and the staff, Bruce in particular, were very helpful and accommodating. Great location, everything in a ~5 min walk and excellent view of the ocean

The hotel facilities are very beautiful and the location is excellent. The property itself is well maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

However, the pool is quite cold, which made it less enjoyable.

The service, unfortunately, was rather inconsistent. After coming from Santa Cruz, where we stayed at a hotel with incredibly friendly and attentive staff, the change was a bit disappointing.

The breakfast service was the weakest part of the experience. There is only one person attending the breakfast area, and she is almost never present in the dining room. You have to actively look for her and specifically ask for coffee or omelets. Nothing is offered proactively , you must explicitly request everything. At this level of hotel, I would expect a much higher standard of service.

This is the #1 hotel in San Cristobal and it has awesome reviews all around. The hotel itself deserves all the accolades. HOWEVER, it left a very bad taste in my mouth about how they operated for us.
We chose this hotel specifically to enjoy its amenities on the day before we were leaving. We didn't have a tour planned, so we wanted to hang out and relax.
We finished all the check in and PAID. and THEN they told us that the pool was closed for our entire stay.
We could have booked our stay in an adjacent hotel WITH a working pool (that we could see out the window and it looks soooo nice on the super hot day) for a whole lot cheaper if we would have known.....

Everything was incredible! The Staff was super nice, the hotel was amazing and the views fantastic! We would definitely recommend!

2 small room suite with nice view. Personnel did not bother to help with luggage. Cold and not very friendly staff. Asking for the way to a place was told to better use Google Maps. Next time better Golden Bay Hotel again.
