Overall, the location is convenient but the hotel definitely needs more hospitality and cleanliness. Hotel room was dirt

I did not like that the staff in the restaurant do not ask if your stay comes with breakfast included and tried to charge me twice for breakfast which wasn't that good for the price. My room was also dirty, there was used bandages under the bed, the bed sheets were both stained on both beds! The bathroom make up removing rag was damp and musty when I arrived and the bathroom sink was slightly clogged. Definitely not worth $500 to me

Great location and modern hotel
Pros:

Modern and well appointed. Great location near the hospitals. Great service from the bar and food area despite being very very busy

Goede kamer in rustig hotel
Pros:

Ruime hotelkamer, wij reisden met 3 personen en de kamer was hiervoor uiterst geschikt. Het hotel ligt wat buiten het centrum van New Haven, op ongeveer een kwartiertje stappen. Het personeel is wel vriendelijk maar echt hartelijk was de ontvangst niet in vergelijking met andere hotels die we reeds aandeden in de USA.

Cons:

De directe omgeving van het hotel is niet echt aangenaam, ligt in een soort buitenwijk van de stad. Als je het hotel buiten stapt kom je in een wat armoedige wijk terecht, niet onmiddellijk uitnodigend.

Next time I will choose a more centrally located average hotel.
Pros:

Bed was comfortable. Room was quiet in the small hours. Shower was nice. Plenty of room to move around. Good selection of TV channels. Usable desk. Comfy desk chair.

Cons:

Light on fire alarm strobed ever ~10 seconds and can't turn off all bathroom lights. Floor was so sticky/dirty I cleaned it myself. During the day staff/guest noise from the hall was too loud for sleeping. i was unimpressed by the bar experience. Location was as advertised, but I should have selected an equally priced more central hotel.
