Lovely quiet place with AMAZING staff with capital "A"

Very good distance from the centre of CARPI city. Clean rooms, quiet location & amazing staff!
More specifically SAMANTA from the reception desk! She was incredibly helpful with recommendations, directions to the places we wanted to visit and mostly with the booking of the table in the restaurant, ultra-last minute, for 11-people - which seems like a mission impossible, at the 1st glance, but ultimately she makes it DONE! I'm sure this was way beyond her pay-grade, so that's why we appreciate it even more.

Italians sometimes park the cars in a way that you cannot move from the parking lot. But this is not the problem caused by the HOTEL. (just saying)

Pros:

La colazione non è offerta in hotel, proporre gli sconti in bar convenzionati non è necessariamente una soluzione adatta a tutti gli ospiti. 2 cialde di caffé per la macchinetta in corridoio sono comunque una buona cosa e dovrebbero farlo tutti quanti, invece di limitare le macchinette alle suite.

Cons:

Il parcheggio interno è a pagamento, nei dintorni è zona con strisce blu a pagamento di giorno, la colazione non è offerta, quindi in sostanza per entrambi questi servizi il costo della camera è abbastanza in linea con gli altri hotel della città.

Cons:

- the hotel manager canceled my reservation 1 hour before my arrival (the room was reserved and confirmed 3 months earlier). Reason: my Card was declined because they do not accept Debit Card, only Credit Card.
Never heard such a ridiculous and idiotic reason. The true reason that he cancelled my reservation is due to a hot season (Bologna Fair) and let the room for at least 3 times more money. According to him, he tried to contact me only through WhatsApp (to cheap for a regular call) and since I don't have WhatsApp on a business phone, I didn't receive any notification.
I was fortunate enough to find another accommodation (40km away though) that I paid immediately with guess what, the same Debit Card
Avoid this fraudulent and scamming hotel
