A clean hotel with hospitable staff in a great location.
Pros:

An awesome staff that is helpful and kind. A beautiful area with an old historic building facing the hotel giving a homey feel to the neighbourhood, the hotel is also near to many attractions and is not far away from public transportation. I would like to thank Yousif for his assistance and the information he's given me about the old area of Istanbul, also Nurbek, the manager Salchu and the rest of the staff, for their kindness and hospitality. The room is air-conditioned, and clean.

Cons:

While location is great, walking to hotel may be cumbersome due to the hills, if you are with family or elderly, it might be an issue.

Der freundlichste Hotel-Staff, den ich je auf meinen Reisen erlebt habe – und ich bin wirklich viel unterwegs. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und die Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert.

Das Frühstück war eine angenehme Abwechslung zum üblichen Continental-Buffet: typisch türkisch, abwechslungsreich und jeden Morgen etwas anders.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Impossibile trovare di meglio
Pros:

Viaggio in media 10 volte l’anno, e non ho mai ricevuto un trattamento così attento e premuroso da parte dello staff di un hotel, anche di hotel 4/5 stelle.
Posizione ottima, si è a 10 minuti da tutto (snodi di trasporto compresi). Colazione ricchissima (tendente al salato). Ciò che resta in primo piano è l’attenzione dello staff. Si viene rincorsi fuori dalla struttura dai receptionist per fornire acqua fresca, per dirne una.
Al check out souvenir in regalo.
Se dovessi consigliare una struttura ad Istanbul non avrei dubbi.

The staff were very nice! They valued my comments about the hotel and the stay.

Cons:

Too many hills to the hotel, I had hard time to pull my luggage to get there, when I left, even it was only 10 minutes walk to the tram station, but there was no way to walk with luggage with the hills, stairs and the stone-paved road, so I ended up having to call a taxi, which took longer and not cheaper fare. For this reason I would not stay there again.
