Exceptional hospitality and breakfast in the heart of the old city
Pros:

What a lovely staff! We stayed here for five nights and were greatly impressed by the hospitality of the desk staff and owner.

Upon arrival, we were asked to sit down so the staff could mark up a map he provided with recommendations of where to visit, and not just the places everyone knows. He also loaned us a transit card to save us the expense of buying one; I love how they essentially pass these rechargeable cards from one guest to the next.

Each day upon leaving and returning, we chatted with the staff, as well as the manager when he was there. They are so friendly, genuine, and helpful.

Another highlight was the included Turkish breakfast buffet. An amazing array of items each day. It’s the most impressive breakfast buffet we’ve ever had in Europe.

The location is good, close to Sultanahmet Square but away from the noise and crowds. The area is full of three-star hotels but doesn’t feel overrun. A smaller restaurant district is also nearby. Just prepare to walk up and down the hills on the cobblestone streets!

The room was good, not fancy but serviceable and with no flaws. There’s an in-room kettle and small closet. As is typical for this type of hotel, there’s no in-room sitting area.

It’s a great place to stay when visiting the old city of Istanbul.

Pros:

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Everything was great in every way! We were welcomed in a special way, we were helped with everything we needed, and our vacation turned out very well. The staff is super friendly, they help you with anything you need to have a great vacation. 10 for everything!

Tout était parfait, rien à dire. Service excellent, hotel très propre et tres bien situé!! Le petit dej est un regale! Les chambres sont très confortables. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous y retournerons certainement! Je recommande à 100000%!
