We had an amazing stay here . Lovely room and amenities in our room. Booked a table to eat here too. Excellent service , lovely food. Superb breakfast with great service too.

We have stayed here now many times , we enjoy the location close to Harrogate .
Food is excellent, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, all set in nice grounds .

Great overnighter comfortable bedroom and bathroom with good toiletries and extra towels. Had drinks and a good dinner downstairs in pub restaurant. Staff attentive. Was on a road but no noise inside

A lovely pub with fab rooms. Stayed in one of the lodge rooms which were gorgeous! All mod cons, clean, well-presented and a great bonus of a balcony. Had our evening meal in the pub which was delicious! Highly recommend the bbq platter.

Comfortable bedroom and so good for dogs. The area, the surroundings, the treatment from staff, all excellent. The food was surprisingly incredible (venison was to die for) and I’d go back there just for it. My dog got a sausage for breakfast which was a genuinely kind gesture. 10/10. Lovely area to walk around with cute farm animals next door.

It was lovely and clean and quiet with everything we needed and like that it is pet friendly as well as food was great and service, easy parking and all the little bits in the room were very convenient, very lovely and friendly staff

Stayed for two nights. All the staff were wonderful. Excellent Sunday roast and breakfast buffet. Room was a little small but had everything we needed and was very clean. I’d recommend trips to nearby Brimham Rocks, Fountains Abbey and Ripon.

Fantastic place to stay, was perfect for us when visiting Harrogate and North Yorkshire. Staff were excellent, super polite and helpful, showed us to our room and nothing was too much trouble during breakfast. Was nice to see staff take so much pride in their hospitality. Room was clean and stylish, extra points for a modern bathroom, with the balcony area being great for sitting out in the stars and chatting. Would happily go back here. Place was 10/10, and in a great location for transport too

Could do with more staff at dinner and breakfast. Slow service but not because of ineffective staff - they were just rushed off their feet!

Just stay. You will not be disappointed. The staff are excellent and so friendly. It makes all the difference. Rooms are top class. Food was sublime. It’s very clear there is an excellent ethos to excel. We will be back for sure.

Location was good in between Knaresborough and Ripon . Quiet even though on main road . Double room was good, staff polite , friendly and professional . Parking free when staying at inn.
Had evening meal and breakfast both good standard.

We stayed here whilst we visited the Great Yorkshire Show. Ideal for travelling to and from the show. Staff were at the Inn were not only friendly but very helpful. We had a toddler with us and having an outside space was ideal for us all
Staff are a credit to the owners and we would definately stay again
