Le Moulin de Fourges

Hotel em área rural, silencioso, localizado em um antigo moinho. Vista excelente. Quarto amplo, confortável, banheiro grande, porém o banho deixou a desejar, agua com baixa pressão, chuveiro muito fraco e dificuldade de acertar e manter temperatura. Café da manhã razoável, poderia ter mais opções de queijos, iogurte. Sem adoçante disponível. Funcionários atenciosos.

The property is very nice. It is a very old hotel and that has its drawbacks.
Our room was probably the nicest in the hotel, overlooking the river and a small balcony. Bed was good, comfortable.
The parking lot was a bit far so had to lug the bags a distance. No elevator so my wife and I had to carry all our belongings up two flights of stairs (we are both in our 70s but fortunately I am in very good shape).
There was minimal cleaning of room in our two night stay. Used towels were left on the floor but they were just put back on towel rack.
Overall the hotel is very nice and the staff friendly. I would recommend it highly and don’t consider the distance to the car and no elevator as a detriment. The building is old (but is modernized) and parking space in the hotel compound is scarce

We loved everything about Moulin De Fourges. Location, room, food. All was fantastic. Wish we had booked earlier so we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful hotel on the side of the river, lovely garden, outdoor sitting area. We stayed in a suite in the old mill building, it was lovely & spacious, very comfy bed. Perfect location for visiting Monet’s Garden and other quaint villages around. Highly recommend.

The Charm Boutique Hotel near Giverny feels like a fairytale world. We stayed for one night, and the experience was enchanting. The rooms are both elegant and cozy, offering views of peaceful countryside garden and flowing water. The staff are warm and thoughtful. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful location

Staying at Le Moulin de Fourges was like stepping into a storybook. Nestled along a peaceful river in the Normandy countryside, this beautifully restored 18th-century watermill is full of character, charm, and serenity.

The setting is absolutely magical — surrounded by lush greenery, a gently flowing stream, and flower-lined paths. It’s the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down and breathe a little deeper. Every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed, blending rustic elegance with modern comfort.

Our room was warm and inviting, with lovely views and a perfect mix of authentic French decor and cozy touches. The attention to detail was evident everywhere — from the linens and furnishings to the freshly prepared breakfast served with care and a smile.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like cherished guests rather than just travelers passing through. Their warmth and hospitality truly elevated our stay.

Le Moulin de Fourges is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience. Peaceful, picturesque, and filled with soul, it was the perfect stop on our journey and a place we would return to in a heartbeat.

This was the most relaxing stay of our trip. We loved it we will come back someday and recommend it to friends and family

This was the best hotel of our stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. I loved the country setting and the quality furnishings. It was a short drive to Giverney and La Roche Guyon. The gourmet meal was exceptional. I highly recommend Le Moulin de Fourges!

Le Moulin de Forges is an exceptional rural property that offers a scenic and quiet location for visiting Giverny, which is a 15-minute drive away. A lovely restaurant is on site.

Definitely stay here- beautiful, great food and lovely hosts!

We didn’t receive room upgrade because we booked best room by the river. Building is historic and beautiful, new bathroom but ancient building - close to Giverny with many beautiful drives, beautiful propert - loved sauna and hot tube with shower facilities- hosts were very nice

Cadre très agréable. Chambre bien rénové. Jacuzzi agréable et très jolie deco confortable et moderne. La chambre que nous avions n’avait pas de fenêtre côté eau. La jolie vue donnait sur l’entrée du bâtiment et donc nous forçait à fermer les rideaux. Le dîner était une bonne expérience. Le service était très chaleureux et agréable. Le petit déjeuner décevant.
