The hotel is adjacent to a nightclub which apparently is part of the hotel’s business. Saturday night the music was too much for me, and it went on much longer than I thought it would (I think it was 2 am before it ended). I did not want to risk losing another night’s sleep, so we actually reserved the next night at a nearby hotel (Artunc), though we left all our stuff at Churchill Townhouse! We went to Artunc to sleep only, then returned to the Churchill Townhouse the next morning. I have never paid for two hotels simultaneously, but I don’t regret it. I got a good night’s sleep ar Artunc (it is only about a 6 minute walk away but totally quiet!), and then came back to enjoy the otherwise good features at Churchill Townhouse. If you are sensitive to noise, this may not be the place for you, and I don’t think it is smart of them to have such a loud nightclub right next door. The one thing you want above all else in a hotel is to be able to sleep. If you plan to be out until 2 am, I guess it would not matter that the noise and vibrations endure that long, but we were not interested in being awake that late.
On the day of our check out, I believe a water pipe burst, so there was some unexpected commotion and water leaks as a result. Luckily, we had already showered and packed, so it did not affect us, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, the place has a lot going for it, and it is very appealing to be right at the beach. The main thing to consider is whether or not you can deal with the sounds at night. My friends who stayed in another room said they were able to get to sleep in spite of the noise, but for me the sound was too much.

Beach area closes at 6/6:30 (not a fault of the hotel but it s a local law)

Toilets in the room needs an update (black toilet is not really appreciated from an igienic perspective)

The room might get hot as the a/c is not really powerful

Sometimes it s difficult to communicate with the staff as they speak a basic English

Le kebab n’est pas le meilleur plat. Prenez plutôt les boulettes de viande, elles sont excellentes! Les terrasses sont très petites mais chaque chambre est dotée d’une grande baie vitrée.

Très bruyant. En fait l’établissement est plus un restaurant-bar qu’un hôtel avec 5-6 chambres au dessus et le restaurant-bar est leur priorité donc on entend jusqu’à 3 heures am la musique du DJ assez fort les fins de semaine , se terminant plus tôt vers minuit durant la semaine même avec la porte fenêtre fermée. Bouchons dans les oreilles n’aident pas 🥴
Si vous aimez faire la fête tous les jours ce sera parfait pour vous .
Rangement minimaliste pour les vêtements, ok pour un séjour de 1-2 jours quand on laisse les vêtements dans les valises mais pour séjour plus long c’est moins pratique.

Kan soms wat lawaaiig zijn van de lounge tent ernaast maar heerlijke muziek.

The only issue with the room where a few small things like the door to the bathroom being a little wobbly and the shower sometimes was tricky with the hot and cold water like maybe the handles were not labeled right but both issues could be easily fixed. The property doesn’t do full housekeeping every day only every three days unless otherwise requested. The property itself did not have beach loungers which would have been ideal, but there is a place a couple doors down where you can rent beach chairs for a very low price.

Toilet tissue holder is really tight and annoying to get tissue out i hope they change it

If you can’t handle a bit of noise this is not the place for you. But we loved the vibe and the noise of the restaurant and music did not bother us with double glazing. Ambient.
