Pros:

This hostel is closer to Maxwell MRT Station. Its location is very good. The ground floor operates as a public café. Generally speaking, the managers were friendly and willing to take care of guests.

Cons:

The following feedback is specifically for female guests. However, there are some fundamental design flaws. On the first floor, there is only one large room designated for female guests, containing around 24-26 beds. Everyone packs their luggage and talks inside this room. This large room has an en-suite bathroom with two sinks, one hair dryer, and two toilet stalls, where the toilets and shower facilities are combined, meaning there is no dry and wet separation. This is the first drawback. The second drawback is that the hair dryer is wall-mounted, so using it late at night will disturb guests sleeping in the beds next to the bathroom. You might think that if you wash your hair late at night, you could borrow a hair dryer; however, there was only one hair dryer on the ground floor, and the manager didn't know who borrowed it since there is no log, making it impossible to retrieve. This is a management issue.

Pros:

Loved everything about the hostel. The location was top-notch, beds comfortable and with lockers right next to it, the included breakfast was yum. Nothing to complain about at all.

Cute hostel and great location
Pros:

The staff was fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. The hostel's location is very central in Chinatown, and close to several MRT stations. Breakfast was good and the hostel has a nice cosy vibe and decoration. Capsule-style beds were confortable and towel provided. I stayed in the large women's dorm which was relatively quiet, given the number of beds, so I could sleep very well.

Cons:

It would be great to have more shelves and hangers in the wet showers, as I found it hard to put my toiletries and clothes somewhere and keep them dry while showering.

Good value for money

Great hostel in a good location
Pros:

The room was clean, comfortable and kept at a great temperature. The staff helped with my luggage and anything else I needed, they have a group chat where they share ideas of things to do including a fun free food walk with Dean.

Cons:

Nothing much to complain about. The toilets and showers are combo in the room which is a bit of a pain but there are other toilets in the building and it does state this so not a surprise.

Cute hostel and super host
Pros:

The host Dean was the most incredible and nice person and helped me with things so confidently and as if that was the most normal thing to do! Kiki was so friendly too! I liked the 6-bed-bedroom, people were respectful and quiet :)

Cons:

The aircon was so loud, I could hear it through my earplugs :( that was sad, but would come back anyway due to nice location and nice hosts

Pros:

Unglaublicher Aufenthalt. Mit Abstand der Beste auf meiner 5 monatigen Reise. Dean, der Besitzer, lebt für seine Gäste und das Atelier. Jeden Tag gibt's via WhatsApp Gruppe ein aktuellen Bericht, dem Wetter angepasste Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten in Singapur. Dean selber organisiert auch Touren mit hostelgästen( foodtour) dadurch connected man sich schnell mit anderen Leuten. Das Atelier selbst ist perfekt zentral in Chinatown gelegen und ein super beliebtes Café. Das tolle ist das die marinabay nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt ist, falls es einem mal zu heiß in Singapur wird geht hier immer ne warme meeresprise. Laupasat( der Ort zum Satay- Essen uvm. in Singapur) ist auch 10 min fußläufig entfernt. Absolute Empfehlung. Es ist familiär und total gemütlich dort. Großer Pluspunkt für mich war auch das ich mein Backpack direkt (Bett oben) neben mich lagern konnte.
