Pros:

Staff was very helpful and pleasant, especially Yasmin, who offered great advice and service. Breakfast was good but the coffee machine was terrible. The common areas were charming.

Cons:

My room was abysmally small.
There is no AC so we had to open windows which open to the parking lot. I'm sure most of the time AC is not necessary but we were there during a heat wave.

Decent hotel in good location for short break in Plymouth

Good location for Barbican and Hoe

Cons:

They had not reserved us a parking space despite me asking. They said only customers booking direct had priority and not those bus booking . Com. Not sure it warrants 4 star

Pros:

Good sized room, large well-equipped bathroom. Close to the sea and nice places to eat.

Cons:

Matter of opinion really, the bed was very firm in the room and had a slight slope!

They also don't seem to have an iron and ironing board available. They had a steamer, which wasn't too bad. But overall, a nice well-located hotel.

Great location for visiting Plymouth

On entry to the hotel no person was on reception but they came quite quickly once the buzzer had been pushed. The member of staff who greeted Me was very friendly and helpful as we arrived earlier than expected. The room was large, clean and bright, bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows should you need them. Nice to see biscuits in the room with the tea and coffee. Bathroom was well stocked with toileteries and shower shampoo etc. Breakfast you had a good choice of cooked or cereal or both if you were hungry. Great location to walking around Plymouth, the Hoe or the Barbican would use again. And of course parking right outside the hotel.

Cons:

Unfortunately communication at breakfast one morning meant they forgot my breakfast. The shelf in the bathroom was rusty and dust on top of the shower glass door frame
