Great young couple working together making this corner of Nauvoo fantastic! Such a pleasure to talk to Bailee and Emmitt and listen to their story and see their vision/dream for this community. Nauvoo is changing so much for the better and they are the right people to be here in this moment!
The room was surprisingly large. Very clean. We were in the 2 bedroom signature suit and had 5 adults and 3 children in our group.
No sound insulation or privacy
I was so surprised at what a hidden gem this was. Recently updated and super clean. Very spacious.
It was a nice historic place to stay.
I wish they would look at the reservation and when they see 6 adults are using the room they would leave 6 towels and wash cloths. Especially since the main check in place is 4 blocks from where you actually stay. The pool is 4 blocks away. The rooms do not look anything like they were advertised. The price is most definitely worth it though.
good
I loved the room itself. Very comfortable, clean ,and well kept. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. Great access to historic Nauvoo. The only downside is that the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors right above a barbecue restaurant. Which was in the description. But, they are carpeted and not to code. The building was built in the 1800's. I am a large person with bad joints. I knew that there were stairs, but I was on the 3rd floor. The stairs were a challenge and a trip hazard for me. I would recommend the hotel, but know the challenges of the stairs and the aroma of barbecue throughout the building.
Clean room, comfortable beds. Loved being within walking distance of the temple and little shops. The BBQ restaurant downstairs has excellent brisket.
We loved the room and the location to everything. So nice to be close enough to the temple to walk.
Close proximity to Nauvoo Temple, just across the street. Easy parking. Refrigerator in room. Easy access to microwave and toaster just outside the room in the hall. Very clean.
Beautiful hotel
Very quiet, quaint and peaceful.
Good stay
The room was historic but it was in a different building than was represented at booking. The online information indicated the room would have a view of the temple. We ended up in a very overpriced room without a closet, overlooking an alley on the opposite side from the temple, on the third floor with no elevator. We feel like we were deceived and taken advantage of. Live and learn.
The grounds around the hotel were not trimmed, weeded and some of the benches were broken.
The room itself was great.
The room was smallish but had all of the amenities. I would have added a wall clock or an alarm clock for the time. I probably couldn’t stay at this particular place, the Temple House, because there wasn’t an elevator and we were on the second floor. But the ambiance was quaint and perfect for Nauvoo.
It was so corre
The property was a little tricky to find. Check in was at one location and the room was located about 5 blockes down the street. Not your normal check in and walk down or drive around the building and enter your room. It took us a bit to find becaude the street number was not on the building, but we found it. The room was big and spacious with a King size bed. The room overlooked the street.
The multiple beds and each was in a different room. The king size was hard to get on. Everything was beautiful
