The heater made a terrible loud noise. You couldn't even hear the TV over it. I got the room warm and then turned the thing off. It was cold out so i had to repat this process over and over.
The basic of basic! No Frills-no Kleenex. No hair dryer. No extra towels. Pillows were Rocks.
We had a reservation. When we got there, the office was closed, locked and there was a sign on the door that said that all the rooms had been taken and there was no vacancy. They sold our reservation to someone else, and didn't even let us know! That is unacceptable.
This room satisfied what we needed: a place to crash. But that was it. This is an aging property with aging furniture and tiny rooms. The room was clean, the beds were hard, the water pressure was weak. Our double bed room only had 2 towels so I went to get some additional towels at 10:05 pm and the office was closed with no one answering the bell. (Was happy to see bug proof covers on the mattresses.)
We were traveling with our asst.dogs, and couldn't stay there even though I put on our reservation that we had 3 asst.dogs, no pets allowed, it would have been nice to i from me before hand had to sleep in our truck that night
WiFi made connection but did not work at all.
Facilities old and worn out. Like an old Motel from the 60s
I was unable to stay at my requested hotel because Hotels.com overbooked my reservation. Despite a lengthy conversation, your reservation center was unable to find an alternate hotel within 50 miles. I ended up finding a room on my own that was over 300 miles away. I made this reservation for 10/13/23 well in advance so I would have a room to stay in for the annular solar eclipse on 10/14/23
Housekeeper opened the door without knocking. Then slammed it shut. No apology. Nothing. Room was grimy.
Small Business run by owner. Great service
No hosekeeping. No daily clean towel and limited to towel. No toilet paperhad to buy our own. Worst place ive ever stay.
A decently clean hotel, Internet is very shacky
The room was dated yet clean. The price was good. I would have given it a better rating except for the lack of coffee maker in the room and the giant bug in the bathroom in the morning.
This hotel appears to have not been kept up for the past decade or so. In need of cleaning and updates. .5 stars out of 10
Would not recommend
It was clean but needs serious upgrades. Carpet, bedspreads, furniture outdated. Toilet seat very warn. Exterior and interior remodels needed. Not inviting.
Staff is really friendly.
It was older, but clean & convenient from the main road
The property was very nice and quiant. I liked the classy decor, the soft blankets on the bed, and the closet. Check-in was easy and I slept great. However; when we got there another customer was loudly arguing with the receptionist over something that was the customer's mistake. In the room some paranoid occupant had filled the peephole with tissues. I wouldn't have felt safe if I had been traveling solo. No fault of the owner.
Clean, cheap and quiet.
You get what you pay for. Clean enough, but very old and sorely in need of updating. Be prepared for 1 set of towels, single ply tissue toilet paper, 1 bar of soap, and a shower stall so small I opted to skip it—to say nothing of the cracked shower door. Treat yourself to a minimum 3 star property.
The property was great and the staff were nice and were welcoming. There wasn't anything i disliked, it was a great experience overall and will likely be staying there again on my next visit.
